"Some interesting news from a friend who knows a bit of about the inner workings of a few clubs. Take it as you will.
Doueihi had a meeting with Roosters yesterday, Contemplating a move there.
Tedesco HAS apparently done his pec and Roosters are in panic mode. (Feel for him if in fact true)
Apparently we should be expecting an announcement next week Tues/Weds if he agrees.
Interesting turn of events."

I can actually see this happening where Roosters will get AD and he will turn out to be a SOO player.. We will sit back and say if only we increase our offer by 100k...

Surely this isn’t possible. With what cap are the Roosters to outlay $500k plus? They are also supposedly after the other Morris twin to cover for that centre who did his ACL. Ridiculous...


Will they just got Latrell off the books, if Sniths injury is bad enough they may get sone short term cap relief for him. Pretty easy to sign AD under those circumstances.

IMO a big no thanks to AJ. He's never really shown anything in a stacked side like Souths, very run-of-the-mill and not a definite upgrade on Corey T or Nofo. And as a fullback he's bog average also.

I like nofa but would love to see some speed on both flanks

I think some people have a romantic image of a winger as just ready to pounce on a great pass and scream 60m upfield to score. This does happen (at other clubs apparently) but 90% of the modern winger is dirty carries, tough kick returns and strong barges from 10m out.

Other than height and catching bombs, Nofo has the modern wing nailed.

We need outright pace on both flanks, pace that goes the 100 metres to finish off opportunities. The difference between making the 8 and missing out.

I highly doubt AD to Roosters. They had Mitchell on $400k for this year, and they will instead pay close to that for AD?

Roosters will get Xerri, and maybe the other Morris. Sharks may be needing someone after they are raided, wonder what their cap is like.
