The side is looking good honestly. If we get this hooker that fullback and hooker are sorted.

But, can anyone tell me what we are going to do about Lock?

ET makes tackles and slows the play the ball(gives away penalties too) but only makes 50m or so a game.

Eisenhuth is a good defender but too slow in his hit ups.

Ailioa would be good but for fitness and ninjuries.

We need anlock who can play 80 minutes, run 100m+ and make 30-35 tackles. Any ideas? Think Twal is too slow in attack.

I'd put some kgs on Lawrence and move him into the middle.

He’s cooked ..
He’s also one high shot away from becoming Quasimodo .

As in his body is gone? I think we need a bit of experience in the middle with our young props and rookie hooker.

Yeah his body , his head ...I actually feel sorry for him lol

He might have experience but even Garner has him covered In all other aspects of the game..
He just cant match the young bulls anymore imo
I believe his last minute signing late last year was just out of sympathy because he’s been a great stalwart of the club .

Im probably guilty of trying to find a spot for him. He's not an edge backrower.

I’d give Luch Leilua a run there. ***Great fitness*** and great ball playing skills. Played all his high school footy in the halves and most of the best clubs around have a lock who can ball play.

I disagree with a lot of this. I think firstly fitness is one of the big questions marks around Luciano. Secondly if he is in the middle, playing 80 and big tackle numbers this detracts from his real strengths, to be an attacking weapon on the edge. Wasted running into the teeth of the pigs.

Big Lucy is the Tigers main weapon this year and should be used in bursts to exploit his attacking prowess.

Don't mess him playing big minutes or doing too much donkey work. You lose the ad.

Madge will know.

I met him a couple of weeks ago ...
Champion bloke but his time is almost up imo

Play him off the bench if we have other injuries by all means ..
I doubt he’d sook if he was on the pine .

Now the race for JAC begins for 2020

Do we have enough cash to enter that race smokey or are we all done?

Still got enough to sign and upgrade for 2020 if required

And are we going hard?

Only thing I know is that there’s been discussions with stone and JAC directly but nothing is getting sorted for him until at minimum his management issue is done. Tigers are very keen. He was their number 1 target once his early release was granted

If Reynolds sacked or stood down will be more

How can we get cap relief if his court case is this year? If he gets off, he gets paid.

If the NRL stands him down should be able to get cap relief to replace him in the top 30. If he is sacked tigers aren’t obliged to pay him a thing even if found not guilty.

The roster turnover for next year will be interesting. How many youngsters promoted vs new recruits.

We should Let go/ Retire:
Matthew Eisenhuth, Robert Jennings, Chris Lawrence, Benji Marshall, Sam McIntyre, Chris McQueen, Paul Momirovski, Dylan Smith, Elijah Taylor

There should be some significant contracts coming off McQueen, ET, Jennings in particular.

Retain:
Alex Seyfarth, Oliver Clark, Momirovski.

In 2021:

Retain
Josh Aloiai, Kane Bradley, Michael Chee-Kam, Zac Cini, Jacob Liddle, Jock Madden, Thomas Mikaele, Zane Musgrove, David Nofoaluma, Billy Walters

Release:
Russell Packer, Josh Reynolds, Corey Thompson.

It’s looking a bit far forward but Madge would have built his own team 2021 where I feel we will challenge for a premiership.

It’s a must we make the finals this year and attract an origin player or two to the team. Over the next 12 months.

if the NRL stands him down on "no fault" and he is cleared he will get paid in full. how can we get cap relief, spend it on someone else and then double pay it when we pay Reynolds. I cant see how this can work and I cant see us getting cap relief for him if he is "Stood down".

I also cant see how we could sack him with the whole "innocent until proven guilty" thing.

Expect to get momo and grant rubber stamped by friday

Good to see someone in the media is report the correct wages. The 2.5mil from Hooper made me laugh so much.

As I said earlier In the day, it was a blessing in disguise roosters became involved as Souths ended up chipping in for 2021 as well as 2020.

Just the fact he’s been charged by police is enough. And then the video. Conduct detriment to the profitability of the club is in every contract. Guilt or innocence isn’t a factor.

I thought the crime had to have a sentence of 12 years plus ....

And if we sack him we wear the cost unless we can prove he has breached his contract

Just asking the question Woke ....they said the other night that assaulting an officer wasn't a 12 year plus sentence so the NRL can't invoke the no fault policy against Curtis Scott
