Here's our engine room's age, heights and weights:

Sorry left Michael CheeKam off the list: age: 27 - height: 192 - weight: 100

So looking at that photo im guessing some members are now a lot heavier, or have trimmed down a little .. to what is reported on the Tigers homepage.

Yeah for sure those numbers will be different now. Luciano has lost weight by all reports is one example, his fitness has actually been pretty good apparently. Seyfarth Twal and Garner look bigger

Surely that’s a typo for Elijah Taylor because there’s no way his 190cm, he would be struggling to reach 185cm on a good day....

Case and point that it’s a long running typo.

Shaun Johnson is 179cm and Taylor looks like a midget next to him.

Esan Is 185cm

Ben stands at 193cm and Elijah supposedly at 190cm that’s a lil bit more that a 3cm gap.

Oliver Clark - I heard from an extended family member, this will be his last year playing NRL...he plans to retire and focus on running the family business....apparently the family are fairly well off.

Yeah I am sure he has upside (somewhere) but I have really never rated Clark and he doesn’t even come onto my radar when picking the 2020 NRL side.

I think he gets a spot purely because we don’t have many other great options for front row, I’m hoping Alex Seyfarth really develops and earns himself a first grade spot by the end of the year because he’s a GIANT

Doesn’t look as big in photos

This is him on the far right

![6BB59210-9402-4FE7-B198-C285AE16AFC1.jpeg](/assets/uploads/files/1580641101708-6bb59210-9402-4fe7-b198-c285ae16afc1.jpeg)

I remember when Sirro first packed into a Scrum after his time in Hawaii. He was so big he couldn't fit in the front row and had to play 2nd Row. Then along came Ian Roberts at Souffs and the era of the really big man began. Seyfarth is massive.

Eisenhuth is tal too.
Massive cat tho.

Hopefully Seyfarth has a bit more ticker.

??

Same as Eisenhuth ?

What?

U saying Seyfarth is soft?

Yep

Aha, ouch.
That's a shame.

I haven't seen much of him.

Defo isn't in my 17 atm like some others.

I wouldn't say soft, but no he's not a Taupau kamikaze ball runner. He's a work horse. The type will put his hand up for 20 hit ups a game, can make 100m+ and 40 tackles every game, while still being there in support when a half bust is made, or to try and chase down an opponent. He has a decent offload too.

Making metres has always been his biggest issue. But he doesn't shirk in effort. As he fills out his frame his post contact metres should continue to improve. At present you'd say he's a cross of Twal, Eiso and Reynolds. But as a guy who's literally just turned 21 and is filling out his frame he has massive potential.

He's not the finished product yet by any means but this is a player who's represented his state and country in all rep team since a young age. It's not just his size that makes the difference, it's his hunger, competitiveness and determination which puts him in good stead to keep on improving.

In Flegg i thought he looked quite average at first, then he started to dominate. He went up to CC and looked a bit lost but towards the end of the year started to look quite at home, and got an NRL contract. He'll work his ass off to improve and do anything for the team and that's pretty handy player to have at lock.

He's been a second rowers most of his career so doing the hard yards up the middle against men will take some adjusting. I didn't have faith in him at first but i back him now to kick on and replace ET/Huth at lock at some stage this year.

I could put my age on Wikipedia as 54 when I’m really 64.
Anyone that truly believes anything on Wiki, well there’s not much hope for them.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if we do another type of trade
With both the Goldcoast titans and Rabbits short on forwards and more stacked in the backs we hold all the cards
We can go into the season as we are
But I am sure we have a forward or two we could offload for a talented back
Names like McQueen , Packer , Eisenhuth , Taylor and maybe even Clark come to mind
I would even settle for AJ to have a little more speed and competition in the backs
Remember a trade would still leave us room to sign an Addo-Carr type if they came along
Anyway I believe we are finally in the box seat to call the shots
I hope Madge has a good poker face

Souths still taking about rumours they are about to sign a middle forward possibly Packer, wonder how thats going to go down. Surely we'd have the upper hand if they came knocking, personally if Packer is fit and has mended his fences with Madge i'd rather him stay unless its very lucrative for us monetarily or a swap for a player that will make us stronger. No point strengthening Souths just for the sake of it.

I don’t see any team wanting to pick up Packer, he’s on a massive contract and doesn’t offer much anymore. We would have to throw in for half or more of his contract most likely and it would only make sense if we need to free up more salary cap but we have a decent amount left anyway.

It was immediately obvious watching Seyfarth in SG Ball that he was NRL bound. Yes he wasn't the complete product but not many are at that stage of development. Suli, Papenhuyzen and Doeuihi were all in that team and my view at that time was that all 4 were NRL bound. Seyfarth under Maguire will be a revelation.

I would be more concerned about Aloiai. From all accounts a really nice guy but always seems to be playing on 2 cylinders, lacking fitness for the 13 and his defence is pretty ordinary. I believe he needs to start in CC and earn his selection in the NRL.

Wow can't agree with that at all. Aloiai is a gun. One of the only players who consistently bend the line. One of the first picked every week if you ask me.

Looking at the ages of our forwards, there's a lot of youth which is great, but not a lot of experienced leaders. Packer, Lawrence, Taylor, McQueen, Eiso (27) are the only ones older than 24. Not many of them (maybe 1 or 2) will even be in our starting side.

Id keep Packer right now, hoping he'll come good. We dont need the space right now, unless theres a ready made replacement weve got our eye on.

With LL playing, you need Seyfarth - great mobility, high work rate because LL brings with him the attacking flair which should not be compromised by having to work overtime in defence. You can't afford to have LL and Aloiai in the 13 at the same time. Aloiai has never worked hard enough in defence for my liking. Our right side defence with LL, JL and Nofoaluma is going to be tested severely. You need the Seyfarths, Eisenhuths and Taylors our there covering for them.

Yeah sorry I completely disagree. Aloiai in the middle, LL on an edge is awesome. He's not lazy at all btw, averages around 40 mins a game, almost 30 tackles (94% tackle efficiency), 95m in attack. How is that lazy? It's like we're watching different players.
