Announcement will probably come Monday from the club

As I posted 3 days ago, quote me next time 😉

Storm have announced it now wonder when tigers will do it, you were on the money mate ?

All locked in. Giiiiddy-up!

Well done TB. No smoke around you!!

Now, does he come straight in?

We have dodged a few bullets so far this year hope this kid is a Big Shot

@Tiger_Steve

My ‘working’ theory is he comes in for Walters to drop out for ONE week, Reynolds stays put.

Mbye to return to centres next week and this gives us options around the halves because in reality, with Doueihi able to slide to FB whenever Madge calls upon him, then Mbye can back either Brooks/Benj up if they’re ever to get injured or ruled out during live action. Basically J. Rey would get first shot whilst Brooksy is out and I think it would take a genuine shocker to see Walters promoted back in at #6.

Great signing come the pointy end’s my tip!

As long as Benji keeps his remarkably cool head, with Brooks back we’ll be lethal...

Happy for the swap. I hope Momo hasn't cost much above the minimum, as at the moment he sits as our 4th choice centre, and I disagree with a lot on here that he is versatile enough for wing or fullback.

He's our second choice centre. But the difference between him and Mbye isn't a lot.

The difference between Grant and Walters is significant

In Madges mind I think he has BJ and Mbye starting. I would hope in a year Talau has developed and would be 3. Which to me has Momo at 4 by the time he comes back. We will see. But I agree, there is not a huge difference in them all (other than BJ), but we wouldnt want all 4 fighting for centre spots on medium sized coin etc

Great post, sums it up. Talau in for BJ when the time’s right, maybe sooner, Mbye contract will expire and by then I’d say Momi would be seeing lots more regular first grade at his expense.

NB: only see Mbye staying at the club if Walters doesn’t work out for utility value,

Or if AD completely bombs at fullback (unlikely)

I think my post was misread, i was just ranking centres in order of how I think Madge views them:

1 BJ
2 Mbye
3 Talau
4 Momorovski (Momo probs 3 now but feel Talau may move ahead in a year)

Talau more likely to replace M'Bye in a season or two, Hoffman will be ready to replace BJ by the time Joey's contract runs out. M'Bye will struggle to find a spot in the 17 in a couple of seasons time you would think.

Doubt it, changing of the guard, once BJ loses it and quits due to non-payment over SARS-CoV-2

Another option, for sure mate... just think Talau is still a total work in progress and Joey might be finding it hard to keep up in two season time

Billy Kennedy looking very sharp this evening for Cronulla. off contract at the end of the year, is it worth having a crack at bringing Bubba's boy home and sticking Doueihi at 6 in 2021?
