Based on what? He had no significant experience prior to the Bulldogs, then parachhuted into a cushy job at Stadium Australia where his old employer was the major tenant, then the NRL. He has almost no qualifications and insufficient experience.

Ive always said he is WAY over his head. He has bluffed his entire career on that lame, serious tone and saying the right things. When it comes to doing something, he is out of his depth.

I believe the vast majority of players have it in their contract that their wage moves in relation to the cap percentage wise to protect both parties. I know there may be some that don’t but I don’t think there is going to be mass renegotiations. I know the NRL grant works like this also.

Why would he care about that? If all goes well, in 10 years time Greenberg will be a long-forgotten memory in the annals of RL.

Not a lot to lose . We are one of the only clubs with a spot to open up. He said he’d come for minimum so it’s not a financial loss.

Do I think he will do well? Probably not but he wouldn’t be any/much worse than what we have and would have an extra bit of wheels than Aslot of our backs. The extra fitness in league will be a big factor
