Must be a few within the ESL that are worth looking at... Not sure who though.

How would the get out of the UK and into Australia..

More next season won't be happening now

saw the quade story in the papers today. Never seen him play is he any good?

he's 33 years old though. If he's signed on in Japan i don't think he will get the chance to go back until end of the year.

Not sure a 33 year old rugby player who can’t tackle would be a good signing especially considering he might only play 4 months. We’ve got Doueihi here to be a long term fullback/half so he really should be playing.

Don’t think any NRL club would be wanting to sign Cooper

Quade Cooper anyone? Quoted in the herald saying he loved the Tigers and Benji at one point and doesn't mind who he plays for.

1. Cooper
2. Nofo
3. Leilua
4. M'Bye
5. Thompson
6. Marshall
7. Brooks
--------------------------------
14. Doueihi

Thoughts? And thoughts on any of the union/super league players that could eventually end up in the NRL on a 4 month contract?

No no no .. Cooper is not fullback of any sorts .. specialist fly half = 5/8 in our game .. can kick some great goals .. sign him on a year to year contract at 33 .. he certainly looks fit .. i believe he is training with the Broncos .. well the videos of him doing those crazy flick passes said so.

If we were going sign anyone from rugby...can they at least be under 30 lol

Tbh we already have a rugby guy.....that dude on the train and trial contract...cant remember his name

Cooper would spend the year in reserve grade. The simple facts are they are two different games and Rugby League is far more physical. Forget being stuck at the bottom of the ruck, it's not tough to rake at people on the ground with no way out. Toughness is being 10 out from your line, knowing your about to get pole axed and taking the hit up anyway. In the other game when you do the hit up the opposition is 2 metres away, not 12.
Now i know Cooper is a back so the roles are different, but if he was so keen to always play our game why has he waited until now?
I hope he does play, because i think we're going to see a guy with the "deer in the headlights" look when he receives the welcome to 1st grade.

Fast Goal kicking winger would be nice from Union or anywhere.

You should specify that they need to be able to play, particularly tackle. That’s asking a lot of a Union winger.

Tigers in talks for Cooper .. paper this morning! Do not see the sense in this other than keeping the club in the papers!

They cant be serious about this guy hes a mith and he thinks he is another sonny bill but atleast he could takle and he is to old to be learning how to play rugby leauge no to this guy.
