Dan about town

Daniel Tupou was spotted in Tigers territory on Wednesday, walking into the grandstand at Concord Oval while the Tigers were training. This column was told weeks ago that he is set to sign a four-year deal with the Roosters.

Tupou has a number of close mates at the Tigers, and the Roosters think that's why he was in Tigers territory.

From Danny Wiedler in today's SMH

I doubt Tupou would be allowed to waltz around the grandstand at Concord just because he has mates in the squad, he would have to be there in some sort of official capacity checking out facilities and chatting with management. Unfortunately checking out the facilities may be our downfall

i am sure Mataulino, Packer, Reynolds and our other signings checked out the facilities and they still signed. So i didon't think it willbe an issue.

Asofa- Solomona set to re-sign with the Storm - front row stocks getting pretty thin now.

Rumours Woods wants to stay lol

When will the saga end

I thought you can't Back out of a deal when it has been finalized?

It's just a rumour Swaggy, without an apparent source. I wouldn't put much stock in it. Probably just the media stirring the pot again! I wish they'd find something more constructive to do with their lives.

Interesting, would definitely add some much needed height to the backline

Rothfield has a little snippet today about a coach trying to get a star to back flip on a recently signed contract, don't think Cleary would do that, but you never know I suppose. Also thought of Reynolds and Hasler, but sure we will know soon enough, wish it was Teddy though.

"WHICH NRL coach needs to stop asking one of his Origin stars to backflip on a recently signed deal with a rival club? Enticing someone to break a contract is not on."

Presuming it's a player in the current squads, it would only be our blokes, Bird or Duges, wouldn't it?

That is the article, and you are right, it probably is a current squad player, I was thinking Reynolds as he was in the last winning blues team.

Another interesting snippet today was a playmaker and hooker from a sydney club trading blows after the game about calling and ignoring calls
