I dislike copying others' methods.
However, as much as I also dislike the Eels and Brad Arthur, I cannot ignore how they have advanced since their wooden spoon.
Their recruitment has been an eye-opener.
I feel that Wests Tigers are just beginning to escape the tragic misdeeds of Cleary and others, the salary cap anomalies are slowly being reversed and countered, and I am optimistic of what's to come.

It will be interesting to see how the Eels progress over the next 4 years I think that will be the extent of their window. Majority of their leadership players are around 26-29 and they probably have maxed out their cap on buying a premiership team, so there is the bones of the side to remain competitive for a decade however what depth they have in the wings and how they replace Jennings and other senior players will be key to them remaining competitive. Panthers have a much broader window in my opinion and in reality the tigers are probably basing our future off the panthers mould more so I’d say.

They still have no juniors there just buying from other clubs

I thought our forwards were good , backs are what let us down,.Mybe must go and give young guys a chance.maybe Cini and hoffman to centres at least we will get some effort,,Drop Benji and Reynolds and try Walters or someone who can at least tackle

Forwards weren’t good enough last night though we barely made 30 metres a set. We were missing Twal, Musgrove and McIntyre though.

Our forwards played hard - the backline was flat with no strike power, embarrassing really.
Harry Grant was troubled with that hand injury last night, he came reeling out of some tackles shaking his right hand

Keep an eye on Charlie Staines playing for Penrith today, he’s a young talented back who I believe is available to talk to come November

He is quick and plays well.

Very quick. Still just a kid but he has skills, don’t know how likely he is to leave Penrith though. Can play anywhere in the backline including fullback

He is not a Panther junior but another good country player from Forbes.


Panthers group has bought so many small RSL and Leagues clubs, anything west of Kellyville is Penrith

My young bloke plays div 1 for Emu plains and at every game there’s always 2 Pamfers talent scouts with their clipboards ..

I respect the knowledge and passion on here but I cannot understand the Issako love. Yes they are struggling as a team but he is just a middle of the road footballer. My view - he is simply a depth player with a good goal kicking percentage. No more, no less.

This was part of Pascoe's plan when he was at the Panthers, by playing games at Bathurst and setting up satellite academies around the Central West.
This is what we should be doing at Tamworth, and tap into the talent around the Northern Tablelands.

Big question marks over our spine for next year. Reynolds not good enough, Benji probably gonna retire, Grant will be gone and brooks is really out of form at the moment.

I like the looks of Cust. I’d keep Doueihi at fullback he doesn’t make mistakes and he can score and set up tries

Doueihi. He's the Luke Covell of fullbacks. Solid and safe. But DAMN he's slow. Nick Meaney would be great and solves our goalkicking.

Exactly, in today’s 17 there were kids from Dubbo, Forbes, Parkes, Wellington, and more in the extended squad

Can you provide the forum with a breakdown/stats for each SOO and Kangaroo game played by Nofoaluma and JAC?

Nathan Peats has played 164 NRL games (including finals) and 3 SOOs.

According to your logic he is currently a better player than Harry Grant.

Reynolds won an origin series, by extension he's better than most other NSW 6's on the market.

In my humble opinion I think this team is lacking experience, aggression and leadership in the middle forwards and would like to see madge and the recruiters sign 2 or 3 players from the following suggestions. Off contract in 2020 are Adam Elliott, Ryan James & Herman Ese'ese. Off contract in 2021 are Dale Finucane, Isaac Liu & Paul Vaughan. How do you view my opinion and suggestions?

Elliots good and Id be taking one of him and/or CHN if acailable..the rest are too old too /injury prone or justdone nothing recentlyand coasting into retirement
Id be keeping a watchful eye on Broncos if Fifita signed,,,they cant afford em all..need a big body but definitely not Lodge...Pangai Jr most likely to be squeezed out...and if Packer cant do the role he can

You'd think so if the info is true but then a few people in the know have said he has ties with Madge and would likely come here. I can't picture him as a Rooster, I really can't.

You mightn't be able to picture it, but if Roosters want, they very, very rarely miss.
