Thought Elliott and Keppie from Manly have been going good the last few weeks.

There are certain clubs that are very loyal to the Panthers, St Marys,Windsor,Emu Plains and St Clair in particular.
I played at Lower Blue Mountains for 20 years and every player that ever made a Rep squad would get sent to one of those clubs.
If they were good enough to make it to the NRL they never mentioned Lower Blue Mountains.

Same thing with us up at Katoomba with the 1 or 2 decent players we would produce, we usually lost them to St. Mary's. We never got any favours from Penrith.

Are you a K-town resident ?

I once was, not for a long time now though. I grew up in Katoomba/Blackheath.

You'd think so if the info is true but then a few people in the know have said he has ties with Madge and would likely come here. I can't picture him as a Rooster, I really can't.

You mightn't be able to picture it, but if Roosters want, they very, very rarely miss.

He wouldn't even make the Roosters bench. Nor would they offer him what we could. Seems highly doubtful, they have good and cheap prospects for cover too.

Yeah his old man said tigers offered him good money but he just loved Des so much he had to move there. They bought a place in manly as well so I really doubt he leaves. Did we target him when Madge was here or Ivan? I reckon he would get on with Madge really well he’s one of the hardest working players around

Yeah the Eagles!!! Best sausage sanga around! Never had any big boys like Minchinbury or Blacktown but had some good fighting spirit.

Everything you said was spot on in regard to top shelf players moving on and playing elsewhere (Peter Wallace maybe from memory was one). Ah well as a Wests Tigers fan one thing for sure is you can’t keep em all...

How about we try a player swap with them, we are low on forwards thabks to injuries and raiders have plenty of talent in there system

So how about we swap billy Walters there ( he can get some experience playing there) for one of there forwards

They’re down on forwards as well so they don’t have anyone to swap. They’ve got development players starting just like we do

Raiders have multiple injured forwards we wouldn’t be able to get anyone off them. Simonsson injured as well so they won’t part with an outside back either.

We would be stupid to give them anyone
