I sound like a broken record but the missing piece is a controlling half

Additionally a wow factor fullback and a fast winger.


The fullback or fast winger will do very little if we dont sort out the halves.

A player capable of winning a clive churchill medal is who we need to be looking at.

I dont think that is Brooks or Walters.

Who though..most of those are tied up..

In all seriousness though this coach can recruit so whoever he signs basically.

If Brooks goes he goes ..players come and go all the time ..the Club is what is paramount..



Let me spell it out for you.

Brooks is not going to get any better, he is what he is. As he is he isnt a player that will ever step up in a grand final and get us home.

Coach's job now is to go and find someone who can.

Im not talking about signing someone who can do it tomorrow. As he has with all his signing he will survey the field wand recruit a player who has these attributes.

I know Dean Pay would not agree with me but I would look at Lewis from the Dogs Great defence and good gold kicker. Learning his trade at the moment but great potential.

I'm warming to this idea. Dogs are cashed up and on the hunt for a halfback. Prepared to pay overs, so lets trade Brooks for Lewis and the dogs can pay the difference.

Lewis is defensively on par, superior kicking game & he looks to be calm out there with good communication skills.

Seriously, has anyone ever dropped a Brooks bomb? It's like his intention is to make it as easy as possible for the FB to catch. Not to mention his severe low energy personality, that if he walked into a doggy day care, all the pups would go straight to sleep.

Up there with signing Michael Lichaa.

He has never kicked a goal in the NRL, we can do better

You are correct. I should have said kicker. In his short career he has 25 forced dropouts and 12 try assists. Better defender than Brookes and would not cost anywhere near Brookes and he is at the beginning of his career.

I’ve watched a lot of him and have never seen him do anything. Maybe a good coach could improve him but would rather chase someone who’s shown more promise. He cost the bulldogs the game last week too

He’s on huge money but it’s good for titans I think. They have made some good signings and look like they have begun heading in the right direction. Still a long way off being a finals team but with Fifita and Tino they will look a lot better next year

Looks very strong. Now they gotta work on the rest of the team, it’s a long slow process as we have seen but hopefully their coach gets them there. I’m a huge fan of Fotuiaka

Enormous for the Titans if correct.

Also would be a massive loss for the Broncs...of all their young crop he was the one you absolutely had to keep. You could build around him and Haas for a decade. They should have let Lodge and TPJ go instead of matching huge offers IMO.

It’s a signing titans really needed. Also means Broncos have a better chance of hanging onto some of their young guys with more $ freed up. Seibold is running that club into the ground though

He was the young gun to keep by far...then Haas...then Xavier...the rest you could let go.

Massive loss for the Broncs. Fantastic to see 🙂 Their arrogance was astounding throwing millions at Milford and Bird, matching huge offers for Lodge...all the while just presuming their 'network' would mean Fifita and Haas never left.

Herbie Farnworth has been made an offer by broncos and other NRL clubs. Hope we are one of them but with the depth we have in the outside backs maybe we don’t sign another winger/centre
