Fox reporting Broncos shopping around Milford and Bird. Broncos could be forced to pay $700k of Bird's $975k and $600k of Milford's $1m.

I reckon we'll have to do something similar to get Reynolds off the books for next year.

Reynolds is in better form. I think the club will ride it out unless near full contract is paid

I actually think Reynolds will wind his way back to the Dogs for next season,cause if he doesnt he'll be playing reserve grade for most of next year an wont get a chance to audition for a new contract at 32.He'll take a cut on his $800,we'll take a cut...and Dogs will pay about $400.Also think Foran will wind his way back to manly for a similiar price
..and I wouldnt take Milford if he was free...hes not 1st grade anymore
Id take a chance on Bird at $275k only if he still has pace to play in the centres..dont need a small forward

I severely doubt he would cancel his contract to sign a new one for a reduced price, that never happens.

No matter if he stays or goes he will be on his reported $850k for next year. Considering it’s the last year of his deal they’ll probably just hold onto him unless there’s a player they really need the money for. Foran is a cheaper and better option for bulldogs at 5/8 anyway

Dogs had to pay part of his contract though. Next year Reynolds will get his money, the years after he’ll probably get not even half as much

Just on that I watched the Buzzard and Pooper discussing Sloth's player salary list ..can't remember the player and Pooper asked Buzzard what he was on the list 600K ..Buzzard replied yeah 600K or 700K something like that..

Ummm so which is it 600K or 700K ....

Dogs are only offering him about 200-250k. That's what they think he's worth. Why would we pay more? He's apparently said he'd like to stay and prove himself at the dogs and money isn't a prime motivator.

Offer him slightly more than what we're paying Benji and if he's interested we get an upgrade. No loss if not

We dodged a bullet with Lodge.

Agreed about Packer. It seems now his toe can be treated, he's back to contributing to the team. Needs to get his discipline in check though.

I guess when they say SBW will sign and pay roosters $400,000 to play for the club, that is their way of buttering us all up for what's coming

I think given his form this year that is what he's worth, even taking into account the risk around injuries. At the moment he'd be our best half imo.

Love him as a player but you would have to wait until he is cleared before making an offer. Great player.

If we wanted Forun we would have to pay more than the Dogs or he wouldn't leave.
I think 400k would be ok if we wanted him. Would go well with Luke imo.
Even a swap for JR even though there is a diff in contracts.

They have been mentioned in a number of potential forwards signings, unsure if they keen on JDB. I wouldn't want to get into a bidding war with them over him though. Plenty of money and no sense right about now.
