Is Corey Norman a player we could use? Seem to have problems at the Eels and has not cementedca spot at Dragons? 200 NRL games and can goal kick as well. Plays full back and in the
Halves. Will be 30 when next season starts.

Not under any circumstances.

I reckon we should get him purely for player welfare, he'd be the new forum whipping boy. Take the pressure off Brooks, M'Bye, Lawrence, Joey, Eisenhuth, Taylor, Nofo and anyone else who is hopeless week to week

Rumours Gareth Widdop may be returning to the NRL

Massive yes from me he’s still only 31 so has a solid 2-3 more good years and he’s an absolutely incredible goal kicker from memory

Him and Brooks as a combo could be lethal as much as I like Foran would much prefer Widdop

I thought Widdop went back because he was homesick?

The Dragons could also lose boom young winger Jason Saab at season’s end after his manager and the club met on Tuesday. St George Illawarra will give the 19-year-old permission to negotiate with rival clubs with the likes of Manly, Wests Tigers and Canterbury set to make a play. The Dragons are seeking a player in return.

Saab is contracted until the end of 2022 but has agitated for a release on multiple occasions this year. The club denied him a mid-season exit. Saab has grown tired of the commute from Merrylands to Wollongong for training and wants to move to a club closer to the family home.

They can have two from WT'S Jennings and McQueen

if the Sims brothers are out the door at St Choke I wonder if we could offer up Seyfarth or Chee-Kam as a player in return for Saab. Jennings would be great but as we all know he'd be lucky to make an impact in an English Championship side

Big yes for Widdop over Foran. Big fan of Foran but his injuries are a real worry. And Widdop can kick!

Widdop would solve 3 problems. A great Half back, great goal kicker and experienced captain. Sounds too good to be a WT signing.

I mentioned earlier he would never leave Roosters to come here but if it’s true Flanagan has been dropped, he’d be worth looking at if Roosters have given up on him.

Widdop would be an incredibly good signing for reasons mentioned above - class half and a great kicker.

It's a shame we're hamstrung with the Brooks and Reynolds contract because a Foran and Widdop halves pairing with our current team around them would see us go a long way imo.

Widdop would be 1st choice, but Flanagan would be a good 2nd choice, Flanagan is kicking goals from all over the place this year, had one off night as far as I can remember

Sounds like Widdop will be at dragons. He has injury concerns of his own as well, how much has he played in the last two seasons? Had some major surgeries

Replacing Jennings with Saab for next season is very good business.

Madge is slowly getting rid of the older, worse players and replacing them with younger talents. Marsters for Leilua, Thompson for AJ, and hopefully Jennings for Saab.

Widdop has to come back to STG it was part of his release. Mary’s days are numbered he isn’t coming back to play under the same coach.
