Big yes for Widdop over Foran. Big fan of Foran but his injuries are a real worry. And Widdop can kick!

Widdop has to come back to STG it was part of his release. Mary’s days are numbered he isn’t coming back to play under the same coach.

Saints can't afford him at the moment, and they have Norman on $850k and Hunt on $1.2m already tied up in the halves, the ESL club will probably tell saints they don't want Norman, and certainly at that price

Is Corey Norman a player we could use? Seem to have problems at the Eels and has not cementedca spot at Dragons? 200 NRL games and can goal kick as well. Plays full back and in the
Halves. Will be 30 when next season starts.

Only as a tackling dummy at training. As an NRL player no.l He has one good game every 18 months.

Rumours Gareth Widdop may be returning to the NRL

Massive yes from me he’s still only 31 so has a solid 2-3 more good years and he’s an absolutely incredible goal kicker from memory

Him and Brooks as a combo could be lethal as much as I like Foran would much prefer Widdop

A swap with Brooks would probably get us over the line as far as getting a release from his club
Brooks is far better than Norman
But would Brooks go and would Widdop come to the tigers
An experienced play maker and a bloody good goal kicker
Its a yes from me
I would definitely go hard

yea thats what ive been thinking

we have a crap ton of good upcoming talent in JF and CC, which Madge is developing

instead of wasting money on a player like Widdop who is 31 years of age, we can just hold on to it and save it for a 'star' signing

Are they ready for next season though. Only madden will be eligible for first grade. For me personally we need a first grade quality half in our team for next season. Happy to use youth elsewhere though

He played well in the trial against the Panthers. You never know until you use him. We've purchased experienced halves in Mbye and Reynolds. Has it been a success? Time to trust in our scouting and development
