He barely played. Threw an intercept but also set up a try as well. Very young and doesn’t get everything right but he plays confident and goes for whatever he sees. Good signs from a young guy

He threw an intercept when they were chasing points hard near the end of the game, that's pretty forgiveable.

There are some fans on here suggesting we drop Benji for Madden! I have only seen Madden play 3 or 4 times and in my view he wasn’t anything special in any aspect of the game (including goal kicking). Putting him in the same sentence as Benji is ridiculous. I’ll be surprised if we even keep him.
On another point, our young pack might seem like they have potential, but the games we have lost disappointingly have not been because of our halves, but because our forwards have been convincingly dominated. We have no real leader in the pack, not enough guys who can actually bust tackles or get over the ad line, no genuine ball playing forwards or even guys who can consistently offload. The majority of our pack are one out, vanilla flavoured and very predictable. Until they can poke their bodies through and get a roll on down field our halves and backs will never look good no matter who we have!!

Don’t forgot Zac cini coming straight into first grade.

I agree with u based on Madden last year form but thought the same of McIntyre on his form last year and he has kicked on.

But madden doesn’t fill me with any excitement

Seen him a couple of times last year in CC did nothing to suggest he would make it in FG

And of course he has contacted the Roosters and has a great relationship with Uncle Nick.

The strong keep getting stronger.

JAC will end up at Souths, Pangai will end up at the Roosters and maybe we can get Saab across the line.

Souths want to keep AJ now as he has a great relationship with LM. This might be a script for a new soap. opera.

Relationship is not that great. Unlike JAC & Tyrone AJ did not get an invite to the shooting and camping trip.

I really liked the idea of getting Cust. He fits perfectly with with Maguire is doing. Tough, well-priced, talented. I'd be shocked if we go anywhere near Widdop as he seems too old compared to what we've targeted so far. Wouldn't be surprised to see one of the big contracts loaned to someone else for next year. Even paying half of it allows us to throw solid cash at an up-and-comer

Apparently, Madge went in hard, he really wanted him but it seems he's the loyal type and told Manly he'd stay if they went close with the dollars. Definitely the type of player you want at a club. I've also been told Madge won't sign anyone over 21 and Pascoe had to really twist his arm to sign BJ, so it doesn't bode well for JAC and the likes. If Luce wasn't here BJ was no chance of a job. I guess he's from the Bellamy school of recruiting and developing rather than the Roosters school of spending millions no matter what.

And yet they went all out to get Latrell isn’t he over 21
