Billy Magoulias anyone? been told he can speak to rival clubs, just looks a natural footballer. can play 6 and 13 and showed on 2 occasions in the space of a week he can own the clutch moments as well. could we sign him to play 6 after a pre-season with Madge? or am I dreaming

13. Billy Magoulis (Sharks)

The Sharks captain popped an incredible 61 offloads, ran for over 3000 metres and made 846 tackles. Most impressively for a forward who uses the ball so often, he had just 10 errors to his name all season. Magoulis is expected to push for an NRL debut next season and seems poised to replace Paul Gallen as Cronulla’s lock once the skipper retires.

Just on Pangai.... would we want a guy who has reportedly come out in the media, after the selfish actions he's displayed re CoVid, and said the he doesn't care what his club, the Broncos, do because they're a basket case!!

I’m not a fan of Pangai tbh, there’s just something about him that doesn’t seem right. I can’t say what it is, but something’s not right.

Seibold’s coaching methods haven’t helped, he was a much better player under Bennett.

It wouldnt take much to ruin the reputation of a club in Sydney with 8 other clubs trying for the same corporate dollar/potential sponsors.Pangai is more than capable of bringing the disrepute to that club,he has even managed to damage the reputation of the broncos who are the most parochial single town club.Avoid him like the bubonic plague

Just thinking ahead two years how boring the forum will be when we have won the comp and Me, Russ, Mike, Gnr4life, Geo, hobbo, Willow Joshcoleman all agree on selections and team members
what a nice place to be
then the debate would head to where we would play etc
i guess lets settle for making the semis first

The forum would be such a strange place if we won 90% of our games and consistently challenged for titles... I often wonder what it’s like being a storm or roosters fan ?

the tigers did win the title in 2005 and the forum did exist in another form even then.After the win,the forum was a pretty happy place.- believe it or not

That explains why it is so bitter and twisted now

It would be great to sign a guy like Christian Welch. Over the last month we have been completely dominated by the forwards of our opposition. Don't know the running metreage of our pack in recent games but I believe the stats wouldn't be great. We simply cannot win games without at least matching the opposition in this area. We need to focus on fixing this problem as it wouldn't matter who our halves are if we don't!

**> Our forwards normally start off well. Even against knights** they held their own for 10 minutes - until Benji gave away a 7 tackle set. If you have no field position and can’t build pressure your forwards are gonna get rolled and that’s on the halves

Our pack could for sure use improving but I don’t think it’s a priority

Tony Rudolph is a very impressive player. Big motor and has a positive impact whenever he’s on the field. He’d be a great addition to our pack.

I’ve suggested Brooks could be moved on as the most attractive option to free cap space.
Mutually beneficial for both.

That may be true but in an adjacent conversation we are constantly talking about how Doueihi isn’t a fullback and would be better suited at five eight.

Whose currently playing in the five eight position?

As some mentioned Madden or Flanagan but all in all replace him with a halfback and buy a specialist fullback.

I think Barrett could do wonders with Brooks.
