I would seriously make an offer for Benji.
Broncos offered 100k make it 250k and he could keep the pressure on Brooks and Reynolds to perform. Would be a good mentor to the younger players in how to manage a game. He is playing well with the Broncos.

Seriously…. Never managed a game when he played for us.

He has grown up now… I'd take him for $200k, he would be a great buy for us as backup to Brooks and Reynolds....but honestly, I think Bunji is over the Sydney NRL fishbowl

I'm ambitious, I aim high and don't settle for mediocrity. I believe that anything is possible. I'm sorry if you're not on my mental level.

"I don't settle for medicocrity" doesn't really mean much as a supporter. I mean, what will you do if you get mediocrity? Find a new club? Dreaming of signing new players won't help.

(Not having a go at you, just seems a misused phrase around here.)

He looks like a steady hand as a ball player these days. Has cut out the sideways nonsense and doesn't overplay his hand. Maybe the realisation he has no electric speed has turned him into an organiser. I reckon he's z better player now than when he left would also be a good PR move and fill out need for a backup halfback.
Gamble could be the guy but Benji on low coin would be great.

I would defo take Benji back as long as he brings the rest of the Donks pack and half there outside backs with him..

You wouldn't bring Benji back as an organising half. That is not his strength. Once Prince left, Benji struggled because he tried to be an organiser and it's not in his DNA. On a Benji issue - I always thought he may have moved to fullback but it never happened. I reckon he'd have been great floating in and out if the attack

Lurker..

The Eels are keeping up their search for a rugged prop to add to their arsenal for next season.

Their latest target? **Tigers hit man ‘Jesse’ Sauaso Sue.**
\
\
The problem is, the Tigers have Sue under contract for 2018 - and have told the Eels he is not up for sale.

Bloody hell we could of got rid of him. Insane asylum running our club.. 😩

Hitman?

Sue has had a poor year- cant explain it - but he is certainly a better player than what his form has shown this year. We cant afford to let any more forwards go without replacing them. Hopefully a good off season will set up for a better season next year.

I agree but he has been absolutely dreadful something is not 100%. You could never question Sues heart but this year he's been absent.

There is usually something to any rumour. Sue may want out, all his mates from his juniors (2012 gf team) have left and only him and Nofo remain. Could have been his manager sounding out other opportunities, could have been the eels enquiring. Doubt the latter but if they interested, a swap with Terepo would be a good move.

Jack de balin
16 tackles, 3 offloads, 17 runs for 176m…

thats only at half time...

Jeez wish we nabbed him. Goes hard all day.

I made this suggestion like 4 months ago…. nice to see you guys catching up.

Yea and what…
Your suggestion didnt and wont happen.
Just like your james ROBERTS SUGGESTIONS.

We can all suggest signing the best players in the comp but whats the point if it's impossible and unrealistic?

I never get it when someone says "I think we should sign player x, what do you guys think"

Say everyone agrees, then what?

Its a sign if immaturity.

Report today that Ferguson has rejected a 3 year offer from tigers to sign a 1 year deal with roosters. If you wanted any further proof of that rumour I posted a few weeks ago about him messing up and roosters using it against him, there it is. Also shows how toothless the NRL is in monitoring these things

I think we could do well with someone like him, though if he was at the Tigers, we wouldn't be able to cover up his indiscretions like the Roosters can, and I think it would burn us.

Edited: "someone like him" referring to his playing ability. I think as a person he's despicable, he is sex offender, and I wouldn't want him personally at our club. Not that my opinion matters there, but fwiw.

the way things are panning out i think we will not see any further signings, there just does not seem to be that much of any quality left to take, and it now appears players are knocking us back and going elsewhere. has anyone got any good news regarding anyone who might be coming.

We need at least 30 players to fill the roster and need to use up a certain amount of the salary cap. We're going to see a few more signings either before the end of the season or in the off-season.

Sue was geared to be a Backrower in 2017, but has mainly been playing tight under Cleary. If his future is in tight, an off-season & a few more KG's could see him improve.

Personally, he looks like he doesnt know where he is most of the time and I feel he has reached his limit. [Dont Cry Geo]

Sue's best attribute is bash and barge, he has no real footwork or offload…so playing him tight will get the most our of him...he needs to put on some additional kilos and add to his leg drive.
