I don't know much about Cini but I have heard mostly good things. As such I'm not keen to see the swap go ahead. Sure I'd like Laurie early but his inclusion will not make us a title threat next year. Why sell off a potential future star if we are going to be getting Laurie eventually anyway.

If Reynolds goes and Laurie arrives, with Doueihi out round 1 does that put Mbye at 5/8th and Laurie at 1 for the 1st game?

If Dane Laurie is not here or ready to play full back for round 1, then I guess Mbye could run out at full back and I would not be surprised if at a pinch Momo could play a role at 5/8th for one game if no one else looks like being a stand out for the job.

I'll probably cop a hammering for this but unlike some on here I think he's a really smart footballer and don't think he would let us down.

Edene Gebbie is on a development contract with West Tigers. The PNG Hunters coach Matt Church confirmed that Gebbie is not among the Hunters contingent to relocate to Queensland to participate in the Intrust Super Cup competition.

Church confirmed he is in contact with West Tigers officials to see how can he assist in Gebbie's fitness during the transition.

This should be a welcoming news for Tigers fans who have been advocating for Gebbie's inclusion in our 2021 roster. He gives a lot of options in the backline (fullback, wing & center).

I think it's train and trial not development yet and I did tell him it's Wests..

He will be here for 2021.
