Also where do these Milford rumours keep coming from? I'm yet to see any substance behind them but they just won't go away.

Taking a player you don't want to get a player released is rediculous.It takes up space,not only for this year,but the future.We are just beginning our rebuild,its better to have only moderate success next year,(be honest we won"t win the comp) rather then sign mediocre players as we have a habit of doing.I'm not being critical of some of these signings as we were between a rock and a hard place , with little talent around.Rehab on injuries takes time,so does a good roster.We must be patient.

Agreed. Were not winning next year so no rush signings. Good players will become available.

I doubt with our record of signing players close to their USE BY DATE this won'''t happen, though when Lee and Madge said they were interested in Mansour i have my worries.Lets hope Hartigan has the final say.

Agreed. Were not winning next year so no rush signings. Good players will become available.

Wonder if Mbye would want out though if Laurie came 2021. I'd happily take Mansour if that was the case.

Look how far we’ve come since his departure in the forwards, sad to think he was probably one of our better props at the time

I wouldn’t get in Mbye’s way if he wanted to leave but on the money he is on I very much doubt he’d leave on his own accord. He can cover most positions in the backline. I think we are stuck with him unless by another NRL team comes along and offers him something better than a utility position.
Packer would be easier to move on than Mbye and that would still take so doing.

2022 is the year many of the quality players are off contract,and that is when we need money in the cap.The clubs can sign these players before the cut off date , but you must have space in your roster and and the free money in your cap in 2022.We cannot carry unspent money from 2021 over to 2022. Could someone tell me if this is correct?

Yes that is true
I met his dad Wayne up in Cairns before Mitchell played state of origin and asked his dad that ?
When I asked why Mitchell doesn't play for the tigers, his dads reply was "To much pressure, Mitchell doesn't want to try and live up to his family name".
By saying that I gathered Mitchell wanted to create his own path.

I think some on her may be a little blinded for some reason
Mitchell is a good player
Probably not what we need but still a good player
He has been a much better player than Benji for quite a few years now.
But it is his off field behaviour that has let him down a little
The incident a few years ago was very childish but really didn't harm anyone ore the dog
His recent behaviour with flirty texts to a colleague of sorts, when you are just about to marry is not on.
If Mitchell is having second thoughts of marriage then call it off 1st.
Once again these players need to realise if they step out of line, it will be printed for all to see.

If it was any of us on this forum it would never make the news
But this is life and many of us make silly decisions we may come to regret
No matter how small

Just a wacko scenario ok.We still have close to 1mil to spend in 2021,We re-negotiate Mbyes contract, offer him an extra $100,000 for 2021 if leaves at the end of that year, it gives us heapes of spending money for 2022, This benefits Mbye because his value diminishes each year and financially he"s not out of pocket NOTE; money mentioned just an example.
