So they will be short on forwards
They will probably need to keep Lodge now (good)
Maybe they can add packer

But a back up fullback is better then a backup to our front row as it stands

I posted this in another topic but I'll post it again here..
I spoke to a member of his family just last week who mentioned the wedding was being postponed because of the Covid bubble. K. Foran is his best man and couldn’t make it to Byron Bay from the northern beaches, several others couldn’t enter from Qld. The texting story is a beat up and the Telegraph have again shown just what a rag they are.

He has barely played 'any' center.

There won't be a transition.

Where he played his junior footy is irrelevant, Curtis Sironen played a lot of his junior footy at 6 as well. He was not a 1st grade 6.

On Doueihi's 1st grade games he played his best footy at centre, he looked very good at 6 but that was only half a game and he has only shown he can pass consistently from left to right. I want to see him develop a spiral pass from right to left and improve his defense before I am convinced he is a 5/8th.

I posted a few months back Mitchell Pearce was on the outer and Roosters and Tigers were mentioned as the teams. It’s no surprise a leak from Knights has come out and not kept in house. Makes no sense for us or Roosters tbh but don’t be surprised if there’s truth to the old flogs article. They have a star in Walker coming through in 12 months and we have Brooks on a big long term deal no one will take.

If I had a guess the Sharks make a lot of sense.

I like my 5/8th to be able to pass both ways, his passing left to right in the Eels game was outstanding, he now needs to replicate that on a weekly basis and develop the same on the other side.

I'm confident he can develop into a strong 5/8th but he hasn't shown he is a 1st grade 5/8th yet. Hopefully he makes it as we are very short of other options at 6.

He can throw some to the left too just not as consistently. I’m sure they’ll be working on it. He has all the attributes to become a good 5/8, good at busting tackles, nice cutout pass, knows how to draw and pass really well. He knows when to kick too, just hasn’t got the execution right all the time yet

Forget how young he is because of how good his attitude is, seems like a veteran already but still very early twenties plenty of developing left
