I've said it before and still think it's relevant, Canberra has a log jam in the backrow.
One or two of the following will be in ressies each week; Harawira-Naera, Elliot Whitehead, Ryan Sutton, Hudson Young, Corey Horsburgh, Emre Guler and Joe Tapine. None of those guys are Reserve grade players, at least one will start getting itchy about playing time.
I can't see them letting Tapine, Whitehead, CHN or Horsburgh go. But you would think that there is a backrow spot at WTs for either Young, Sutton or Guler (probably in that order of preference).

Some good players there for sure. Guler is a front-rower, I would be targeting Young or Horsburgh

We need to go hard for Elliot white head his desire to win is unmatched I’ve never seen some 1 so competitive I’m not sure when he is off contract is the problem

Some good players there for sure. Guler is a front-rower, I would be targeting Young or Horsburgh

Yeah I wasn't sure, thought I had seen Guler play in the backrow before but must be wrong.

He is such a good player. Might be the best of the English group they have. He is also a giant and very skillful for his size. You would have to pry him from Sticky's cold dead hands I reckon.

Yeah he plays 5/8 if needed aswell

Even if Laurie did come this year, I don’t know if we are in a position to blood him. I would rather him stay at Penrith personally and hope he gets a solid stint at fullback there to give him that experience before he gets here.

Reason being we have a rookie at hooker and we need to decide what is happening with our halves.

Will it be Doueihi/Brooks or Madden/Doueihi? If its the latter then you have two inexperienced halves and an inexperienced hooker. The last thing you need is an inexperienced fullback.

We have serious problems this year in my opinion but i hope im proved wrong.

Panthers of 2020 say otherwise. Who would have thought a spine of Edwards, Luai, Cleary and Koroisau would be the minor premiers at the start of last year
