Club has been talking to Isaac Lumelume's management about an early release to bolster this years backline, nothing eventuated as yet, not ruled out as a 2022 signing.

Semi Valemei (Raiders), Nene McDonald (Sharks) & Tevita Funa (Sea Eagles) have been mentioned as possible depth signings before June 30.

Either means he'll play 7 over Brooks or will play the role Mbye is currently playing. Be interesting to see the plan. Hopefully the money is reasonable.

It'll be a lot less than what Mbye is on if we were able to offload most of his contract.

There was off field issues years ago that people can't get over. He's a solid player and for the right coin will be a decent addition to our 30

Considering we struggle to sign marquee players we have to try these kind of signings to strengthen our team it's the only way.

Yeah, I agree. Anyone who thinks we can sign players like Papenhuyzen, Angus Crichton, Staggs etc needs a reality check. Signings like Hastings could be low risk if the price and contract length are right.

Not bad. I don't mind Funa as a player probably the best of the 3 mentioned there. Naden early would be really nice

We're building for a NSW Cup legacy. A lot of depth w Naden and Lumelume in addition to what we have already in reserves. Lume is another AJ for mine.

He's very quick and tall from memory and comes from around the inner west.
