Reading the Mole comments it sounds like Dogs have got Naden over us and Eels.
Big money it sounds like so good luck to them paying overs for ANOTHER back.
We as a club could do with a big name signing to take some pressure off but very unlikely.

Naden's management asked for a counter offer late Sunday afternoon.
Our offer was 2 year deal $300,000 for year 1 & $350,000 for year 2.
Bulldogs have offered him $1.3mill over 3 years, averaging just shy of $450,000 a year.

Too much for us to pay I think.. At least we tried.
Any other news mate at this stage ? I would like us to try for Adam Reynolds to help the young spine we have.

Reynolds does not appear on our radar, looking to spend big money for 2022 but spread out over a few positions not all invested in one player, If Mbye was moved on faster/sooner then the extra $$ could change the targeting but long odds to be here, Expect him to be a Shark.

What's the go with Junior Pauga and This new jimmy Ngultrum fella from Queensland? They just reserve grade signings?

Many changes to the team this week?

Junior Pauga listing as a train & trial & can play 1st grade after round 10.
Jimmy development deal as I understand for 2022, lower grade contract for remaining of this year.

I expect Tom Amone to debut this week.

What is the go with the assistant coaches? Madge is obviously scarred by the Seibold experience but it seems to stop our progress.

cleary thought Nathan was coming and tried to be smart with Moses

How was he being smart with Moses? If someone's deliberately holding back on signing, why is pulling the contract a bad thing. No club should be held to ransom by any player, particularly a brat like Moses and his dodgy uncle/manager.

And Moses had already agreed to terms with Parra which is why Cleary pulled the deal

Bomber if he was willing would be a massive get for the club as an assistant coach. The sharks have lost a lot of heart since he was dumped by the board. Not to mention we'd have a pipeline to any quality disgruntled sharks.

Joey's on maybe 500-600k and gone after this year. Just because Naden is available now doesn't mean someone better isn't gonna pop up later. As a club we no longer are doing knee-jerk reaction signings which is nice.

Naden's also worth more to the team than a winger that leaks tries, can't catch and appears to have been signed to attract Facebook likes from casual fans that only read top try scoring lists.

I don't like the nofo 4 year Signing but we are stuck with it unfortunately a very very dumb signing

I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before the roosters re sign him long term but I think this team would be stupid to not offer a Kayln Ponga esque deal to Sam Walker. I know it’s early days but how easy does this kid make first grade look. Even though we have Hastings coming across next season, it’s not everyday a young talent comes through in a position we’re absolutely screaming out for. I understand the only thing that would even make us a half chance would just be a stupid amount of money per year but we’re at a stage where that’s our only option to recruit players. Massive pipe dream I know but we are crying out for a big culture shifting signing, sooner or later.

Roosters have offered him a 5 year deal.
Chances of us competing.....less than zero.

Club has an option in its favour for 2022 for joey to be gone, and even should bj provide more diamond than rock performances it'd still be the smarter option to let him go. 600k back in the cap.
