Reading the Mole comments it sounds like Dogs have got Naden over us and Eels.
Big money it sounds like so good luck to them paying overs for ANOTHER back.
We as a club could do with a big name signing to take some pressure off but very unlikely.

Naden's management asked for a counter offer late Sunday afternoon.
Our offer was 2 year deal $300,000 for year 1 & $350,000 for year 2.
Bulldogs have offered him $1.3mill over 3 years, averaging just shy of $450,000 a year.

Agree too much for Naden 450k a year
Are we talking to Aaron Woods at all POM ?
Are negotiations happening with Liddle ?

Naden is worth every cent of 450k.
What are they paying Joey because Naden's in another class.

Joey's on maybe 500-600k and gone after this year. Just because Naden is available now doesn't mean someone better isn't gonna pop up later. As a club we no longer are doing knee-jerk reaction signings which is nice.

I wouldn't say that just yet.
What's Nofa on?
Naden's also worth more to the team than a winger that leaks tries, can't catch and appears to have been signed to attract Facebook likes from casual fans that only read top try scoring lists.

I don't like the nofo 4 year Signing but we are stuck with it unfortunately a very very dumb signing

I agree but once again the so called arm chair supporters were going off about letting a club legend walk... Was always going to happen as players know when they need to perform and that's a "Contract" year. 3 years max from me but we are stuck now and he need a game in reserves to get the hunger back.

Too much for us to pay I think.. At least we tried.
Any other news mate at this stage ? I would like us to try for Adam Reynolds to help the young spine we have.

Reynolds does not appear on our radar, looking to spend big money for 2022 but spread out over a few positions not all invested in one player, If Mbye was moved on faster/sooner then the extra $$ could change the targeting but long odds to be here, Expect him to be a Shark.

Cheers mate..
I would like to see us get some mongrel in the team like a Nathan Brown type of player

Speed & Impact that's the target moto for 2022.

What is the go with the assistant coaches? Madge is obviously scarred by the Seibold experience but it seems to stop our progress.

Bomber if he was willing would be a massive get for the club as an assistant coach. The sharks have lost a lot of heart since he was dumped by the board. Not to mention we'd have a pipeline to any quality disgruntled sharks.

? we should be circling Morris and their players.

That's extremely, extremely disappointing. The most glaring weakness in the side, and a player that ticks almost every box and we're not even throwing our hat in the ring??

Naden is barely worth 250k. AT 450k i'd stay well clear. Would be an awful signing at that price

Is that across the Board? Can you shed any light on the front office antics we are starting to hear about or do you not get a chance to experience any of that in your position?

panic buys have got us in this spot.
Naden is not worth 450k he can't get 8n the team even when Momorovski is out

That's because of other issues he has at Penrith.
It's nothing to do with his ability.
With the right coaching the kid's a superstar. Oh wait.....Madge would be his coach.

All hope is lost.

Honestly I doubt Momiroski will get back in the side now that Crichton has moved to the right and Burton has been a revelation on the left.

Did we not learn our lessons with Farah and Marshall

Naden is no real loss...but the Pom said he had "agreed to terms".

There is a clear pattern of DWZ...JAC...Naden all negotiating with us, agreeing terms...

And the their manager simply goes to the Dogs and says "offer more and the player is yours".

We need to be telling players "here is the offer...you have a timeframe to sign it".

Not continually be left hanging whilst their manager fields our offer and then shops around...like we are a last resort / back up plan.

I feel like the game has passed him. With the current speed of the ruck his backing in to the line and being held upright kills a lot of momentum.

Wouldn't make a bad cheap replacement for injury but can't see him making any impact to our pack.

Mikaele isn’t really making a difference to our pack either
