He looks slow in those highlights.

Those highlights? It was literally one run that looked like it was filmed on the very first camera phone made. Impossible to gauge anything at all from that.

Not sure if anyone here has connections with the club but today on SEN this guy that has a ratings program said that the Penrith fullback and one of the manly centres in NSW CUP are rating as good as Tom Trbojevic was when he was there age. Said they will be the next big things. Definitely should have a look and try to poach especially from the panthers.

The Manly centre is Tolutau Koula, a fullback they are trying to make into a centre because of Turbo Tom above him. He's special.

Penrith have lost rising star Brent Naden as the latest Panther targeted for Trent Barrett's Belmore rebuild. A two-year deal for Naden to link once more with Barrett at Canterbury has been announced by the Bulldogs, with the 25-year-old centre starting at the club next season.

Naden has fallen down the back-line pecking order at Penrith but remained a retention target as the Bulldogs and Wests Tigers both pursued him this season.

Canterbury CEO Aaron Warburton said "Brent is a proven try scorer, with a phenomenal strike rate in his NRL career so far, and we believe that he will be part of a great backline for next season and beyond.

After week of turmoil the Wests Tigers are making enquiries about respected Wigan and Great Britain centre Oliver Gildart. Coach Michael Maguire is an admirer of his ability.

We've been linked to this bloke for years. Meant to be talented but most english outside backs struggle here.

Lot of talk about Hastings playing as a ball playing lock

Big question is this ...how will Hastings cope with having to make 40 plus tackles 24 weeks a season

With all the doom and gloom at the moment, this is super welcome news. Thanks for your limited service Liddle, all the best at the bulldogs next season

Liddle won't have to call anyone. There'll be plenty lining up for him.

There is no reason why we cannot have two hookers of quality in the squad. Liddle is a loyal and fine player for WTs. I want him at WTs.

Here's a reason.
Liddle's a quality player that will snapped up by a top 8 club.
He's nobody's second fiddle.

Just throwing it out there he can't get a run in on the worst team in the comp at the moment.

He has the running game but needs to work on service

Yeah......because our mob's great at identifying actual talent aren't they.

Loved Sheens ability to find talent.
The Fan did something on Ruben Wiki last year and Vossy mentioned a whole heap of super talents discovered by him.

Brooks was one of his finds.

Actually Moses was. Brooks grew up playing for all our feeders. Moses was signed unwanted from Parramatta. Can’t credit Sheens for finding something that he did have to search for but I will credit him for identifying Moses.

Moses played SG Ball for Balmain. Was he actually recruited or did he just switch juniors?

And he's Benny Elias' cousin and his older brother played for Balmain too. Mitchell would have been in our system and paid plenty of attention. Don't think it was a Sheens win. He had plenty of others anyway.

Nephew I think.

He struggled defensively when I watched him. Sign him up immediately?

For $450,000 the bulldogs can have him.

They desperately need a half and a hooker as well, but they keep on shoring up the backline. Still I’m certain they will still improve before we do.

James Roberts has shaved his head so expect about 75-80% more aerodynamics this weekend.

So he'll move from sideline to sideline a bit quicker then?

I am not so sure about that.Everything they have done in the last 2-3 years has a quick fix band aid feel about it.We at least are planning for the future.

If we pull this off, it seems like we’re trying to take the raiders route. Probably a good idea
