Raiders have just announced that they have released George Williams from his contract with the club which will allow him and his partner to return to England…Could be the start of some movement of players.

Yes...

ONLY way Wigan can take him back now is to release someone on similar money.

And they just happen to have a current 7 who is keen to head back to Aus and makes similar $$$....

remember a few weeks ago Wigan put to Canberra a three way swap
Hastings Tigers
Williams Wigan
Brooks Canberra
but Canberra rejected it, looks like it has legs now

Kyle Flanagan is hopeless. No way we would be interested in him.

Is he hopeless though?
Went well enough at the Sharks for the Roosters to want him.
Wasn't bad at the Roosters. They just knew they had better coming through.
Can we really judge him on his time at the Bulldogs?

This snippet is about a week old if correct
WTFORUM.
Now, the Dragons have expressed interest. They met with Moses Mbye and they've said to Moses, 'We could make you an offer, as long as you're willing to come right now'.
Why didn't someone pack his bags and call him an user. This season is over move him on and give the young blokes ago if they don't cut the mustard it's better to now than next year

Hopefully now the Raiders have released Williams immediately we can get Hasting’s & say goodbye to Mbye

Interesting though if the Brooks rumour has legs. Hastings is a huge gamble if he is supposed to be a replacement and most of the halfback talent we have otherwise is already signed to other clubs.

Very curious to see how this plays out.

Surely the only way we’d even entertain that is if the Raiders took Brooks at full freight and even then it still doesn’t really work overly well in our favour. We are getting Hastings next year regardless and he was going to compete for a halves spot, I’d be more inclined to have Hastings at 7 and Brooks at 6 at this stage.

Mbye to clappers, hastings to tigers early

He wasn’t at training yesterday

Who wasn’t at training?

Brooks is the wrong person to leave.
He is having a crack alot more in the 17 should go before him.

If he goes hope we get Tapine or someone else who is good in return

No one in return, its a trade for personnel only it seems.

Lets remember Brooks history and next three years on good coin.

Good outcome for both parties, no animosity.
