Knights reportedly 2.4mil under the cap and need to spend at least 1.9mil more before they are salary cap compliant for next year.

Apparently Roosters have the same problem!! 😱pen_mouth:

you can add the broncos, and the sharks as well.

It’s just a bloody joke …. the whole salary cap regulation issue ..... I mean the Booldogs get rid on one just one second grader and all of the sudden they are cap compliant. Really ? Those NRL administrators must think that we all live under rocks.

Lolo Holmes

At fullback, Yes.
At wing No.
I'm not sure if Holmes would want to come here to play wing. Hopefully he does. If we give him slightly more $ than the Sharks to make him feel loved.

I'm pretty sure he is in something like 850….how much are you willing to pay him to play wing

There is no way he will go to any club just offering him a wing spot. He was interviewed yesterday- says he sees himself as a fullback

Val needs to work on his ball skills before he can demand to be an NRL fullback.

Fullbacks who can catch and run hard are a dime-a-dozen these days, but the top notch blokes set up their outside men and play at the line. I don't recall this being a feature of his game to date.

Agree we don’t need a manufactured fullback …. we have Lolo in that role. So unles we can get Roger Tuivasa-Sheck type player we should just save our pennies use the money to front load some of our player contracts and go hunting next year.

Apparently there is a lot of discontent over at the Sharks and it started with Maloney mid season having a dummy spit he wanted his contract upgraded to 800K for next year saying he is NSW 5/8 and played for Australia the Sharks trainer was saying yesterday he would not put in and refused to do rehab and other things so maybe Holmes will come to the Tigers but heard Holmes to the Cowboys home sick and Ferguson to Sharks

Ferguson won't be going anywhere

1.Tui Lolohea 2\. David Nofoaluma 3\. Esan Marsters 4\. Taane Milne 5\. Kevin Naiqama 6\. Josh Reynolds 7\. Luke Brooks 8\. Russell Packer 9\. Matt McIlwrick 10\. Ben Matulino 11\. Chris McQueen 12\. Elijah Taylor 13\. Matt Eisenhuth 14\. Jacob Liddle 15\. Alex Twal 16\. Robbie Rochow 17\. Tim Grant\
\
NOTE: There are a stack of options in the outside backs department. For us, Marsters has retained the centre spot, ending the year in the number three jersey on a consistent basis. Taane Milne is a more recognised centre than recruits Mahe Fonua, Corey Thompson and Malakai Watene-Zelezniak. Fijian skipper Kevin Naiqama has his name on the wing. Tui Lolohea pushes to fullback with Josh Reynolds' arrival.**

I actually reckon they got the whole team correct except for the bench. I feel Cleary will keep faith in Kev on the wing in front of Mahe and MWZ. But for me Suli needs to be there somewhere whether it be on the wing replacing Kev or in the centres. Hooker i think he will start with Matt Mcllwrick rather than Liddle, just a hunch of mine. The bench should be:

14\. Liddle/ Marshall
15\. Twal
16\. Aloiai
17\. Sue

Know this won't give us all the answers , but let the clubs divulge their entire salary cap including TPA's , long player service , vehicles etc so at least you know your playing a team that is spending $2-3 million a season better off than yourself

Protects the individual privacy of the players and at least when some clown Roosters supporter comments about how wonderful their team is you can say how nice it would be to have an extra couple of million on your playing personnel like them

Would sort of leave a filthy taste in Politis's mouth , wouldn't it ??

Don't they all, especially as it means something like double the money.

I think both of you have forgotten Suli, who for mine would be the first centre picked.

Edit: sorry, went off half cocked after you stated agreement bar the bench.

As much as I like Kev, putting him on the wing in front of specialists like Fonua and MWZ would be madness, imo.

Also, Aloiai deserves a bench spot in front of Rochow, but that's just my opinion again. And yeah, Suli definitely has to be in the centres.

I think that's everyones opinion. If Aloiai can almost destroy the Roosters single-handedly then he must be a walk up to the 17\. Having Rochow start over him would be crazy. Speaking of Rochow, where is he?

No where near my team

1\. Suli a must in the centres
2\. kevvie in NSW cup
3.Aloiai a must in the second row ( 2018 is his year to shine)
4\. We dont need 2 hookers in the 17.
5.Rochow in NSW cup
