As long as a decent deal is done with Finucane I think it's a good move. We shouldn't throw $800k at him but I read hes willing to take a little less so we should go for that.

We lack leadership out there and he'll be good for that, he's also an excellent defender. We can have Stefano, Seyfarth and Mikaele for impact if need be.

We definitely need more impact as well, we don't win the collision and that is a big issue.

I think a lot of it is attitude. In attack we can compete up the middle, make good metres and find out fronts against anyone when we want to its defence we struggle just sitting back waiting for teams

Our pack is just a little unbalanced at the moment, we have a lot of players that will push out really good metres as you suggested but lack the player that can really hurt the defensive line. Our defense is way too passive.

Pangi would set the standard, he hurts in tackles.

Mikaele and Stefano can definitely do it, in fact I think Stefano will be starting for us next year and being our main prop. Mikaele can barge defenders and offload but he's a bit inconsistent too.

TPJ is the type of player our pack lacks.

At the same time though he's also the kind of player that has let us down for years, inconsistent. Risky signing. Luc is good at it but some weeks I feel like he doesn't get enough early ball.

Now i would have thought Hooper would have added some of the good reasons about joining the Tigers here, eg, length of contract,the money, the COE,

A reported $280k a year, not a lot

Had our best start in a while with him in the halves until he dislocated his elbow. Anasta was under appreciated at this club but In my opinion Brooks hasn’t had a better halves partner since.

I think it will come back to bite us. We need more impact on the forwards.

IMO Not for for say $200k less. TPJ has a chance to help the tigers out of a ten year hole. Getting paid more to do it...maybe a legacy means nothing to most players. I would certainly cheer him on if he had a crack every week.
