He asks the question,
"The obvious question is why on earth would a player of Finucane’s calibre who’s won two premierships at Melbourne and played in six NRL grand finals **want to join** the on-field rabble that is the **Wests Tigers?**"

Now i would have thought Hooper would have added some of the good reasons about joining the Tigers here, eg, length of contract,the money, the COE,

But instead he goes on to say,
It's because he has so much to offer for the WT??

There is disharmony in his comments,
I think Mr Hooper needs to have a kit kat.

As long as a decent deal is done with Finucane I think it's a good move. We shouldn't throw $800k at him but I read hes willing to take a little less so we should go for that.

We lack leadership out there and he'll be good for that, he's also an excellent defender. We can have Stefano, Seyfarth and Mikaele for impact if need be.

We definitely need more impact as well, we don't win the collision and that is a big issue.

I think a lot of it is attitude. In attack we can compete up the middle, make good metres and find out fronts against anyone when we want to its defence we struggle just sitting back waiting for teams

I agree, if we believe what Madge has been saying all season..they need to use the shoulder, then Pangai could demonstrably prove to be the most effective leader we have signed since Ellis.

Pangai can be that player when he feels like it... he can also be Joey Leilua levels of lazy. Definitely not against signing him but there is a decent risk that he flops for us as well. All comes down to his mindset and how he wants to play really

Yeah people seem to think Finucanes age is an issue but realistically he's playing career best footy in the last 2-3 years. Bellamy wants to keep him

But also knowing that in 2019 when Broncos signed or re-signed all those players we would have thought they were GF bound. The wheels fell off in 2020. They had such a horrible run you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. Jo was in the thick of it too, but credit to him for picking himself up and getting back in there. The change to WT has been good for him.

We could sign Teddy, Paps, Cleary, Turbo,and Munster., and the death riders would find a fault.
