On a serious note I hope this mean they release TPJ

That means Broncos can no longer afford to keep tpj next season,particularly as they cant GIVE Lodge away it seems...
The only advantage of getting TPJ THIS season( which is long gone for us )is we can maybe prepay some of his contract for future years,which mite make sense if were supposedly significantly underspent
..and as for Finnucanes 2yrs plus one year extra at his option..we all know how that works .No thanks.If we really wanted that type of "professional"player we shld have chased Capewell who still has several more good yrs left in him..at the same $$ Finucane is asking(which is crazy)

Not at all....hes gonna sign SOMEWHERE...but not necessarily with WTs.I still think Roosters need him more than anybody...
..and a shiny new Mustang from Uncle Nick on permanent loan may be hard to beat...and dont forget that Bondi apartment at cost (in 1990)price...and dont forget the new teeth!

TPJ plays like a prop...JWH is near the end..same style of player...

Broncos are still a club players want to sign for, in a player poll I think they ranked second or third as most desirable

100% as I live up here.. That's why we cannot afford to sit around debating over minor issues on contracts and should just be making it happen. You snooze you lose as they say.
I think the dogs were interested in Capewell so if him off the board they may turn up the heat for TPJ..

The problem with our lot is they dont even need to snooze to lose.

I'm not too sure why the Roosters would want him. At full strength their pack is pretty good and their 2nd rowers are great. I'd have thought they'd be looking to strengthen other positions.
