I think going after a good forward is a good option, but looking at the successful clubs, they mainly rely on their backs to break open the defence to win games and we just don’t have that.

E.g. it is not all these players efforts,but:
Manly have Turbo
Easts have Teddy
Parra’s have Sivo
Panthers have Cleary
Storm have there whole backline😀

IMO, finding that game breaker is what we need ASAP.

This team is not good enough for top 8. The club has a history of not being able to attract quality players which impacts Maguires ability to get results. It's more than just a numbers game you can't ignore what you have to work with. Add 4 quality players and then yes and if he failed then you would have good reason to move him on.

We have regularly broken the line - Liddle, Lucy, Garner, Stef even AD all come to mind, but it's the support thats lacking almost every time. It's like they're surprised the break took place. A Terry Lamb type could be a good signing. Or our blokes could actually stay switched on for more than a few seconds.
