If you can tell me to name names and you have had input to this thread you obviously must have read the posts....but Paws,AVO and others have suggested them as well as Watson....what Im saying its well and good to suggest them,but go and check out their form over the last 3/4 seasons....we have already had enough of players with big reputations landing on our doorsteps(packer,Reynolds Mbye)...Madge and Hartigan are the ones who make the selections and recruitment....I will leave it to them...If they have decided on Gildart and Hastings ,then why not support their purchases first before we go off on another tangent....

Unlike you Avo I dont make up crap or bellittle players because they dont suit my personal opinion or agenda.....Going back to my reply to Hobbo ...I said "Paws and Avo suggested Milford,Taylor and ALSO watson who you are keen on""...I said it is well and good to suggest these players but go back onto their form for the last 3/4 years...read the rest yourself...its all well and good to have input to the threads,but it gets monotonous that we cant say our opinion without some on here talking the rest of us down AT TIMES when we only mean well with our posts...
for example ...people crueled me for Saying ( when I used to play )...as if Im a lesser person because I dont have the same beliefs about our game how it is now to when it was real RUGBY LEAGUE....

Apologies Avo you were keen on Duffty. ..someone else was keen on Watson....but while we are at it a good mate of mine is a Dragons fanatic and member...they want to get rid of Dufty because he is a bad influence to the playing group...what he means I dont know but why would you get rid of a guy with ball skills and speed ?

They need some depth in the second row (pangai?) a hooker and some young props but they are shaping up a top 8 team if Barrett can bring them together. Not much depth and no development but a genuine chance they have bought themselves out of the cellar

Nah, defensively that's rubbish. Burton looks good but he had a poor game against us when he was the main guy. Allen, Naden, avarillo aren't much better than bog average players, no hooker. I don't particularly like who they're buying. Addo Carr and Burton are quality. Maybe it'll work out well, and I'd like us to sign some players but titans bought heaps better than the dogs with a better team last year and they still can't solve their problems.

I'm still yet to be convinced of the confirmed signings doing that for the Dogs. Their history so far, since falling from being a finals contender, is year after year of bad recruitment - Napa, Cotric, Flanagan, Corey Allan, Foran, DWZ, Cogger, Stimson, Jesse Sue, Woods etc.

Their past signings have been terrible, but I think their signings for next year are shaping up pretty well. Definitely an improvement. I guess we’ll see how it translates next year.

Sleeping giants of the NRL, imagine if we could field a competitive team! Good indigenous programs though.

Even the Indigenous Programs are'nt working. Fitzy got sacked yesterday.

That's a little unfair to the people working in those programs

Organisations can put in the best educators and top line programs for people/players/students etc etc etc, but if the individuals arent willing to actually learn from them and pick up all the valuable lessons from these educators then this is what you get.
Sorry if it sounded like i was having a go at the people actually working in these programs behind the scenes ,as it was not what i meant.

Yeah so probably a little unfair to say the programs aren't working because of the alleged actions of one individual, especially if the actions are proven he would be low life scum.

That's a silly question, he did it his first year at Souths.

Were they tigers bad ? don’t think so.

Souths were 14th, 10th, 9th, 10th in the 4 years before arrived.

Tigers were 15th, 9th, 14th, 9th before Madge arrived.

Quite comparable really, apart from the 15th.

Addo-Carr goes without saying

Burton is an interesting one...definitely got something and the basis to be quality player..

However at the moment he is a role player at the Pamfers in as such as he is is not the main man sits behind The Chin and Luai..could be mistaken but when Burton has been the main playmaker when the others were out I don't believe they have won a game.. even last week though he did kick the FG ....Voldamort started May at 7 over him...

At the Dogs he will have the expectation to be that player every week..big ask in a still maybe average team..

I'd go with 9.Brooks 7.Pearce/ Sezar 6.Douhelie 1.Laurie

Something in the spine needs to change.

As many have already said …. We need experience …. So for me, based on chatter about who (in category of player) may be available and willing to come on board for next year I would seriously go for Pearce in half’s, Finucane and/or Vaughan. That would strengthen and provide experience to our spine and the forwards.
