Yes if we were to pick him up from the Dogs he would be a Dogs reject. He wouldn't be "won from" or "pinched from" or "out-negotiated" from the Bulldogs, he'd be rejected by them and picked up by us. It would be, as a position of fact, that Bulldogs no longer want to pay his agreed contract.

Dunno, I have lost all enthusiasm for the year and I don't listen to that jarhead even at the best of times.

Gus will turn out to be a very good appointment for Dogs. He's someone gets things done rather than our guys who just fart around.

Problem for Gus is he's about 3 years behind Tigers' clear-out program - it's going to take him a good long while to find takers for Dogs' bad purchases, or dilute down the burdensome contracts.

Sure he's come in and within a few weeks there's agitation around Luke Thompson, Corey Allan, Adam Elliott - but those are pretty decent contracts he's going to have to figure out. That is unless Adam Elliott gets the punt, as he's just been done for some Gold Coast restaurant issue.

Perfect chance for em to sack Elliot.
Isn't his first mistake.

I'd be moving on this quick, if I was Gus.
