Not including the guys who've played first grade I should clarify but out of our Flegg and reserves grade squad he looks a real prospect

Surely nicholls has signed elsewhere hence why souths haven't re-signed and waiting for season over to announce

he deserves some security after all the chances he's taken. if Souths don't offer him a 3 year deal then we should.

They won't offer more than one year. It's their policy for players 30 and over apparently

Trindall any day over Brooks, if his terrorising of Melbourne is anything to go by. They're having trouble picking up his little changes in direction and speed. That said, his kicking isn't spectacular.

Not including the guys who've played first grade I should clarify but out of our Flegg and reserves grade squad he looks a real prospect

Agreed. He's got a pretty good motor and was a standout in SG Ball and certainly wasn't out of place in Flegg either. Wouldn't be surprised to see him named as one of the younger players who get to train with FG up to the Christmas break when the offseason commences.

He definitely deserves the chance to train with first grade. Maybe even a development contract!
