There seems to be A LOT of comment statements over the past few days.

Even glass half full types like @TrueTiger seeing the light.

The rott on field falls with Brooks and Nofo.
Overwhelming response of people all feeling the same way.

I have never seen so many people in agreeance with the problem being so obvious.

Madge hasn't lose the fans... yet.
However these two... it's very clear.

The club need to work on getting the Cotric swap back on the rails ASAP.

Cotric for Nofo
Sezar for Brooks

?
Yep Sezar has some grit in him. I like that.

Nofo is just terrible. 4 years? And that haircut? My god!

His hair is very tidy man....
Spends more time running his fingers through it as he stares at the big screen than he does running straight.

Living the life of a pro baller.
Professional rugby league athlete.

I meant when he has the fringe down. Looks like a dealer

Lol, yeah UK style...

All the super league lads run that style.

Hearing rumours that Warren Ryan might be coming back as coach?

you just brought memories of the tigers grand final in 1989 when he took of blocker and sirro. I’m not going to sleep tonight lol.

If some of the players think Madge is too hard they are in for a very harsh trip to reality if Wok was involved at the club

Wouldn't mind seeing Bateman as a marquee signing, a winner with mongrel.

Don't know if he is off contract but an under the radar non expensive player like Curran from NZ. Ungainly non athletic but tough hit the edges hard and offloads

Tariq Sims is a state of origin player, never takes a backward step , leads by example and trains the house down , something we desperately need , a bit like in 2004 when we bought in Scotty Sattler , a gem for the young blokes comin through

**Was** a state of origin player...pass. I want a current or future origin player.

That signing would be history repeating ffs

Is he not a current SoO player? Didnt he play in the last SoO?

Cmon, I know he was picked in this seasons SoO, and played well. But seriously, would he have been selected if Crichton and a few others weren't suspended or injured?

Don't trick yourself on a technicality...he's done and dusted. As I said, I want someone in their prime. Why are the Dragons letting him go if he's that good? They've lost McInnes, Frizzell and Vaughan recently...

Interesting they sign Suli who is a left centre when they have Lomax who is a left centre

Lomax is 100% a right centre.

Do you mean he plays as a right centre?
Or that he should be playing right centre?

Lomax plays as a right centre and always has.

The Dragons' fullback, Tyrell Sloan is a nice mover and looks a great prospect. The Illawarra consistently produces top juniors.

Close mates with Laurie and disgraced former nsw cup Tiger Fitzgibbon.

Any chance of him coming to WTs? He's 6ft 1.

Daresay the dragons won't wanna lose him.

Lot of Addo Carr to him.

Maybe we can trade em Nofo?
??

They took Mbye suppose anything is possible???

Bateman, Lomax, Woods and Simms would be my targets. Need some experience players. Bateman is a winner and tough nut. Remember we have Hastings and English Centre as well. Side note Momers good enough to push Crichton to the wing. Interesting. Wish we got Matt Burton as he is something special.

He looks a super talent. Hopefully a super offer may assist.

Sezer and Hastings in the halves for the SL All Stars match looked pretty solid IMO.

The biggest recruitment and retention failure we have had revolves around a lack of on field leadership.

We lost Benji Marshall, Chris Lawrence and Elijah Taylor in quick succession.

Other players we had looked at for leadership like Packer, Mautalino, Musgrave,McQueen, Thompson and a couple of others did not work out for one reason or another.

These players were never replaced. All we got was a washed up James Tahmou.

It has been an epic failure to understand what we had lost and do very little to replace it. Imo its the main reason we are where we are right now. A laughing stock!

Regardless of who coaches this mess not much will change without some on field leadership. For that reason we need at least 3 good quality on field leaders.More if we can release some contracted players who arent shaping up.

Hastings and Doueihi are what i would call on field leaders but we need to add to that.

Tariqu Sims is a must.

Luke Thompson and John Bateman would also help if we could fluke one of them.

The cupboard is pretty bare, we have left it too late to identify the problem.

Hopefully a couple more senior players are set to be shopped around, we sure as hell need them.

In hindsight Finucane would have been perfect however the 4yrs he wanted is way too many.

I would take his 4 years with heart and leadership against the 4 years of Noffa running sideways and looking at himself in the big screens

Good post.

That's the part I'm most disappointed in Maguire. His decision to let the likes of Corey Thompson and Elijah Taylor go, and fill their spots with players perhaps more athletic but miss the experience, football IQ, and work ethic.

By 2021 we had an unbalanced roster of overpaid non-performers and promising young players with no NRL experience. We solved the fullback problem and hooker was "less" of a problem than previous years (still not solved), but we lost footy smarts and players who worked hard and led by example.

We now have massive gaps in centre, lock and probably wing. We also have a halfback who needs to move on but has 2 years to go on a big contract.

Agreed it really is the issue we are facing. We dont need a review to sort this out.

Whoever made those decisions needs to leave.

its either Hartigan or Maguire.

market is dry as a bone. better off planning for 2023 and signing a few players after November 1 and trying to get them a year early.
