Our mob should put it out there, any would be coach who can actually attract three quality footballers in their prime or about to hit their prime, who is not carrying any injuries and plays in positions we need….gets a three year head coaches deal!!

Because it would appear at present the only players on the radar are players looking for their last contract in the NRL or players booted from their previous clubs, who are trying to avoid going to ESL to revive their career due lack of interest in the NRL

I’d go all out for Bellamy when he comes off contract

He won’t come off contract. He has just negotiated the next 7 years of his career.

Normally this time every year, after another failed season. We are normally talking about player recruitment. For some strange reason not one word has been spoken, I know they are currently reviewing the season BUT if Madge was staying, wouldn’t you think we would be affiliated with prospective target signings! ???

In my view, we'd be more successful if players are aware Maguire is leaving.

Exactly. Keeping Maguire now, already hurts us for 2023. To tell potential players that if they signed with us for 2023 that Madge would definitely be the coach is a bald faced lie. If Madge stays now, they have to keep him 2023 as well.

Peachey and Luki are top tier priority from the off contract list.

Edrick Lee, Schonig and Turuva could be okay.

Scott, Woods, Elliot, and Fergo I wouldn’t be too keen on personally.

I hope the reviewers talk to some of our missed targets to see if Madge is a reason they didn't sign . If so -he goes if not he stays.

Bellamy is a dream.
Will never happen.

He’ll never leave Melbourne. He’ll eventually transition into a role similar to Sheens.

Purely in my opinion, PEachey, Luki and Scott are the only ones worth considering.

I want Luki just to potentially have Luki and Tuki in the back row.

He already has a contract for that, for the next 6 or 7 years from memory. Next year is his last year coaching from memory.

He always says he’s only one or two years from finishing. Every contract for the last decade he’s hinted would be his last.

Asiata has signed with Canterbury for next season and meanwhile at Tigers HQ ...... Crickets ..........

It just feel like clubs like the dogs are just rubbing salt into us...

Not saying we should have signed Asiata but would love to get our 1st NRL signed player for next year soon

Agreed, my point being he has already signed a Contract for a "Sheens/Gould" role at Melbourne. He is contracted for another 5-7 years.

No player will want to sign here till we get the coaching position for next season sorted first. Unfortunately we all have to be patient while other clubs sign up recruits. As usual we will be left with the crumbs as far as recruitment goes for next season.

Mate you need to chill out 😂 Worrying about bog average players moving and us doing nothing is not good for your mental health.

A stern reality for you, there are no decent players on the market, and even more so no battlers that’s would improve this side. There’s too many people on this forum that are just crying out for us to sign anyone just for the sake of it. There’s no one out there worth it right now so just relax

Asiata is no top class player but he could've been a short term option to fill a glaring weakness in our roster. We don't have a ball playing lock and signing him on a 1 year deal would've made a world of sense for us

No one knows who will be over the cap nxt yr .so we might c something decent .we did hold off from over spending and showed we wont help other clubs cap out

I don’t think will have a ball playing 13 while that dinosaur is in the coaching box. We’ve gotta be one of only 3-4 teams in the league that still plays the 13 as a third prop.

For those who want to have an inside listen into how our club deals with signings. Adrian Tripodina is a business man who was dealing with out club during the big 4 stuff up and lifts the lid on just how poor our head of office actually is.

Honestly a fantastic listen and will leave you gobsmacked.

Been trying to tell people but no one listens.

It makes us so predictable, as soon as a forward gets it the entire defensive line realises we aren't going wide and the opposition forwards can race up in defence because of it.

Storm do okay. The players are hard to find that do the total job as a forward and ball player.
Yeo, Radley, Murray are probably the best in the business. I think Tuki Simpkins can fill the role longer term.
