If Taylor is looking at taking a Trial and train deal at Warriors then it's fair to say the Tigers haven't shown any interest in him.

There is plenty of conflicting information here today. One is saying that Taylor is about to sign with Warriors and the above is saying that Taylor is replacing Brooks?

Hooper: Ash Taylor retires at the age of 26, upon interviewing Ash it became clear the only club interested was the Tigers. They offered him a 5yr deal for close to the 1M he was on at the Titans however after careful consideration (all of about 5 seconds) he declined and felt it best to just retire instead of playing for the Tigers.

If you think there isn’t some plan in place, you would have to be crazy.

We got into this mess originally through impulse buys. That approach again will not solve the problem.

If ready is correct with this plan, I’m all for it.

Im going to say Poasa Faumisuli.
Signed on a two year deal by Mary at the Dragons after a really impressive 2020 but for whatever reason despite the lack of forwards isn’t getting the game time. In addition Francis Molo, Jaydn Sua and George Burgess arriving.

So Laurie, Doueihi, Setfano, Blore, Simpkin, Simpkins, Tuilagi don’t count? Juniors are our way forward. That’s the plan.

I would probably entertain a thomo for Musgrove swap.

I agree, I definitely would be down for that. With Thommo what you see is what you get. Mus is largely and unknown and has so far failed to live up to any hype. Seems to have regular long term injury woes which have prevented him hitting any real form. Thommo is quality, hard hitting and hard running.

I would like thommo as a strong experienced first leader.

But don't think the club would swap Musgrove. He only signed a long term deal last year, apparently for understanding what dragons offered him because he wanted to play under madge.

He had that shocker against Parramatta but had a sesson ending injury from that game so assume he was injured affected.

Would like to see Musgrove with a full preseason and a string of games to establish himself. He's strong and aggressive which is what we need

Musgrove is the forgotten man. If he can get past this foot injury for good, he's a mainstay in this pack. He's a fantastic prop.
