Check this out about the development players, we could play them this year if we had toā¦
"Each club is also allowed three-to-six players on a development list, who can be paid up to $60,000 each but are not permitted to play in the Telstra Premiership without approval from the salary cap auditor.
This is only likely to be granted if the club does not have any player in their 30-man NRL squad capable of playing a certain position and wants to use one of the rookies.
Players on a development contract for two years are entitled to an annual 10 per cent salary cap discount for the duration of their careers provided they remain with that club."

Instead of having a singular player point scoring system , maybe you limit the amount a club can recruit
Based on a 1-5 player rating system lets say in your Top 30 the maximum points any club can have is 110 ā¦...
Yes this stuff is boring , but we won't become successful at this until the club and it's accountant master it , simple as that

This is about RTS and how woe is us (not me) we didn't get him.
I am saying do we need him, seeing most are singing the praises of Thompson after two trials - and the cry has been how sensational this guy is. How he saved the try that Lewis might have scored, how he ran 30 metres from 1 centametre inside his own dead ball line and beat half the Sharks team.
Why are we looking to buy another FB - Teddy23?
Maybe because we should be looking to recruit the best quality players regardlessā¦

Out of the options he is my choice for fullback, but long term? No I donāt want too see Thompson at fullback, when thereās so much quality and talent available.
