Sheens back from the UK yet? What’s the hold up?

Apparently there's like 40k Australians stuck in England trying to get back.

If Pascoe can spend 600k on forgetting to do his job, the club can spend 300k on a private jet and fly Hasting's, Sheens and Gildard over.

Pascoe advised me in an email that all 3 are planned to arrive before Pre Season starts. The word "Planned" is the key part so not sure if they are booked or not but sounds confident.

Planned is used because we have already been stuffed around with flights, Sheens was booked on a flight months ago but got bumped.

If I was in Sheens situation now (not a month ago) I would wait a couple of weeks at least. It will probably be the difference between being required to quarantine for 14days in Hotel quarantine as is required right now as opposed to 7-10days quarantine at home as is proposed.

Think that’s why it’s all been delayed. More to do with quarantine

Really hope this Leniu talk eventuates...in just a year or two our pack could be looking really nice.

I think Leniu spent a lot of his juniors at second row and I think his time in first grade shows that. After 20 minutes in the middle, he’s totally gassed.

I always find it hard to believe these young guys who have grown up playing 80 minutes all of a sudden can’t handle more than 20 minutes.
So much for improved conditioning and diet.

Does anyone know of any planned changes to the strength and conditioning department? I have read references to it here but does the club have any changes in mind?.Maybe I have missed something but I haven't seen anything from the club.
I do agree that we don't seem to have have the same fitness as other clubs but that is not necessarily a lack of strengh and physical fitness, it could be something about our players' strength of mind and/or the fact that we seem to turn over possession a lot, especially close to our line.
Any information would be appreciated.

Surely I am not the only one that comes on here every day hoping to see some signing news and get disappointed at the same result..
All the money in the world and No Signing news, No re-signing news .... But we can change the club logo over when that's the last thing we need to worry about..
Anyway look forward to Pre-season training photos when we get to see some new players..

Before anyone comes back and says be patient, I am just having a laugh and understand there is a plan in place but it doesn't take the disappointment away..

At least we know it will be a very low contract and if he actually gets some ball he has the talent to finish. I don't mind it as we need some players
