Given it’s been spoken in the media by more than the journalists I’d say so. Still trying to work out who it was until now.
Not to say I’m 100% convinced it is him atm.

Can only think that Liddle has finally got the offer from the Dogs/eels that he always wanted!
Truth is,after considerable investment by WTs and even more patience,hes barely an NRL standard 9 as it is...and if so,for only 60 mins...and unfortunately Simpkin isnt there yet
Hogson was the one of the best 9s in the comp a year or two agobut ,isnt anything like the same player in 2021 and Ricky rightly started Starling most of the year
Not sure how much of his recent form is Ricky burnout vs body burnout
Who wld wanna be an NRL coach...!

What a ridiculous post. He’s been injured half the time he’s been here. And it’s been a lot longer than a year since Hodgson was one of the best 9’s in the comp. At 32, don’t expect him to recapture that form either.

Liddle is as brittle as a matchstick.Every time he gets folded you just hold yr breath that theres not yet another season ending injury..like the last time..and the time before that..and..
And when he actually does make it onto the field..and actually stay there,like he has for most of 2021,he looks pretty average tbh...nothing special... before burning out after 60 mins and needing a replacement .Not sure I want a 9 on the bench.
And btw,Im no fan of a 32 yo hooker who hasnt shown form for some while..regardless of his "leadership skills",Hodgson is the same as a Tamou or any other ...past their best-by date..and by some margin.
We need to persevere with Liddle and Simpkin for another season and see exactly what weve got,and then make an informed decision..which is unusual on this forum!

Pretty close to a sure thing....

He'd be quality, plus a very good mentor for Jake and will give him the extra time to develop his game and body.

He is an inspirer and definite captain material for a team in real need of one.

But but but. Little Luke Brooks hates having anyone else direct traffic and organize the team. He's whinged about Robbie, Benji and even had Douehi moved to centre.

I can just see the complaints from the Brooks apologists now if we sign Hodgson and Brooks continues being a passenger.

Well it's only a few days since Peachey signed, and he specifically mentioned the coach in his comments. And Canberra were keen on him too, so he had options.

To be fair no new recruit in any sport has ever said that their new coach sucked.

But to be fair he didn't have to come here.

I read that he wanted to move to Sydney a month or so before he signed with wests tigers.
