Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

When Sheens gets here he will focus on the kids he wants to keep , you guys need to have some faith as we are not going to be able to keep them all

I think the point is that a lot of these kids have been kept in the dark about new contracts or have been promised one only for it not to materialise and have been poached.

Some of the juniors may think they can do better elsewhere back in 03 when Sheens last arrived Wests had hust won Sg Ball and priority was to keep the pick of the bunch however they still lost Ryan Hoffman to Melb and that his choice , so we all know you can’t keep em all .The Tigers as a club seem to want to have a real go at getting things right and us as supporters should be backing the joint not griping about every little thing

Josh Hodgson contract discussions in holding pattern

Josh Hodgson’s future’s in a holding pattern following the sacking of Wests Tigers football manager Adam Hartigan. There could be another spanner in the Hodgson-Tigers works, with Penrith hooker Api Koroisau also linked with a move to the Tigers due to salary pressure at the Panthers.

“Tim Sheens just wants to get his head across the whole thing so it’s probably on a little bit of a time delay at the moment until he gets his head around their salary cap situation,” Peter Mulholland said.

We will probably procrastinate for just long enough that both Hodgson and Api go elsewhere for half of what we would have paid. Don't fart ass around WTs management, just get something done.

Why do the Bulldogs have no forwards?

They put a number on us in our last encounter. Not bad for a team with no forwards

I thought is was more to do with the fact, we had nearly half of our FG starters out?

Laurie, Douehie, Mbye, Seyfarth, Tamou, Simpkins, have I missed someone?

Then of course we were down to 11 players at one stage?

Are seriously making excuses for that insipid effort?
The reason the Dogs put a score on us is because we fielded a pack of gutless cowards to face them.

Those are strong words from a Donk!

Like you to say that to a few of them in person - see how you go against the gutless cowards.

I gotta say I agree with this . I’ve never understood how a punter sitting in the stands , or on a internet message board ,can have the audacity to call a guy who literally gets in 20-30 car crashes every week , a coward .

Lacking pride? Sure , that effort certainly pointed towards that , but calling them a coward , is next level .

I think you’ll find it’s not a little thing and the disorganisation throughout the club is real and systemic in many areas. Let’s hope they are righting the wrongs and get their act together.

The club needs a good kick up the backside and is clearing the decks as it should.

It’s meant to be a professional organisation so whoever is in charge should be addressing not just the big things but little ones as well. It’s business 101.

Ahh sweet as thanks heaps for that champion appreciate it heaps

It’s Api than daylight for me. He’s 3 years younger with no serious injuries lingering. And he’s the incumbent NSW hooker. It’s an easy choice, and if there is any chance we can pinch him, take it.

Yea , there’s no debate about that . But coward/ pea heart , “pussy” etc. is just offensive , and whenever I read it , I always think that person who said it , has never actually been in a situation remotely similar . Or they have something else going on .
It’s just extreme language is all my point is . I wouldnt care much anymore , but when I was younger it basically meant a punch in the face contest .
That’s the outcome that type of language leads to .

I’d be interested in hearing your definition of what a coward is in the context you have used the word.

He’s the secret reason they went from meh , to very good . When it was Egan and whoever they were treading water . If we can get him , I’d be stoked .
