Close to the best back-rower in the world if he isn't already and will only be 24 when he arrives here.

Once it’s announced, this will be the most frequently asked question for the rest of the off season. Anything is possible, but it’s a safe assumption that he won’t be released early. He’s practically on minimum wage, and look at the value they are getting. They’d be crazy to give him up a year early. Plus, Stefano is a prime example on where they stand of early releases. And he was a kid who barely saw first grade. Papali’i is there player of the year

Absolutely happy to wait for him. 2023 is the year we make a run at finals.

Parra fans getting very stressed over on LU given all the contracts that have to be renewed. Brings back memories of us with the big 4. Absolute madness to have all your stars coming off contract at the same time. It’s nice to be the hunters and not the hunted for once.

Once this becomes official, it pretty well spells the end of Garner and possibly Lucy if he still has delusions of grandeur about earning 700k per year as both are off contract at the end of 2022.

Yes many (not all) Eels fans are noted tools, so it's to be expected.

Very hard to juggle at the beginning though, you really don’t know who the ‘stars’ are going to be until they are. Of course there are exceptions…

Yes many (not all) Eels fans are noted tools, so it's to be expected.

Pretty sure we had fans saying the same about Matterson when he spat the dummy and walked early. Just part of life with people reacting that way.

What a fantastic signing, definitely best signing of the last decade if you ask me.

Imo let’s continue to target Parra’s obvious cap issues, I think if we can sign Junior Paulo off them we’ve completed our pack…. he would know better than anyone else what were building here with both Stef and Papalili here now.

Stef and Paulo front row pairing would be exceptional

A quick chat with Moses and Matterson should be all that is needed to ascertain the finer points of getting out of a contract early!! Either way even if we have to wait until 2023 it will be worth the wait.

Isaiah Papali'i signing if true (nothing official as yet) might be just the key we needed in turning our luck around regarding future signings.
