He’ll be lucky to get a game tbh. I’m sure he’ll play a few but only when there are injuries.

Tigers sign Thompson and Cotric
Eels sign simmonson works well for me
With a combined total worth of 1.45m p.a, I hope we'd be paying significantly less than that so we could securely tie up Stefano.
Is there a list on the forum with the estimated contract values of our playing roster (including our future recruits)?
I'd love to know what we're paying everyone.

People stress so much in this forum aye?
I tell you what they do on this forum, that didn’t happen when I started, is the amount of bitching and nastiest towards each other.
Everyone has a different opinion, why can’t it be stated without being nasty to members who supposedly support the same great club.

I think it's because some people think their opinion is right. Factual even. I think some people assume that because they've used (their own) logic to form their opinion, it makes that opinion correct.
And because that's the norm, I have to now say 'remember, this post is just an opinion'.

So it leaves Paulo to Parramatta, or Tigers in Sydney and dolphins in Qld.
Depends what parramatta can match but surely we are better doing that and the running in the centres with either jtj, aj, gildart, tupou, douhie when fit.
You missed the bit where if we don't take Cotric, He'll go to Raiders - Or even Parra.
dogs still need someone to take Thompson though before they get Paulo we look to be the only ones looking at Thompson
Doubtful - Cotric is on 650, And they just lost John Asiata.
The spread would cover Paulo, And Asiata Leaving gives them a spot for an Extra middle forward.
You're welcome.
Asiata was on bugger all money
Depends how much a clubs wants to pay for Cotric
They need to lose cotric and Thompson to get Paulo
No they don't, You're wrong...
Don't worry, It's OK to be wrong.
I've just explained why (Quite clearly) But here it goes again....
The numbers thrown around the Dogs look to be only paying 150k of Cotric (Less in 23 when Paulo comes), That leaves them with 500 to throw at Paulo - Straight up, Asiata is on Minimum 120k... Paulo is getting anywhere from 7-800, They've got middles in Vaughan & King coming off, They're not 100k light in cap room - But even if they were, They'd easy find it.
Cotric is gone, It's only a matter of where... They don't need to lose Thompson at all.
You're welcome.
Thanks for the clarification ?
Think you misspelled Condescending
Con descending, isn’t he the Greek parachutists
I thought he was an inmate going down stairs.

Got a fair bit to offer in attack, defense, not so much.

I don't think anyone would disagree there, but it can also be negative if it's repeated a lot. (That's not a go at you)

I'm really happy for him, liked his attacking skills at Tigers, defensive is his weakness .. wouldn't be on massive coin either. He and teddy will form some good combos im sure.

I have no doubt Sheens will attempt to put as much pressure on the Bulldogs in terms of the salary cap. You would believe they need to find homes for some players to accommodate all their purchases. Letting the Dogs stew for a little bit will do us no harm.

Sure. But don’t players get paid by the month?
Gould can hang on as long as he likes. However, the longer Nick & Luke stay at the dogs the more their cap suffers. And the pressure builds on there overall salary cap. I’m not exactly sure how it works , if the cap is by the calendar year or financial year.

Thanks Bathurst!
With the Bulldogs having already started paying the full freight of Nick & Lukes wages for 2022, if they are going to release them .you’d imagine they would be keen to do it sooner rather than later. And be the ones more under pressure to budge in the salary split negotiations

Agree, something will crack soon? Looks like (probably) the Dogs are holding it up, hoping for more cash?

at the same time though, the longer they hold out the more they are paying them for this year and the less we pay them for this year
if it isn't sorted soon i think it will fall through

but i merely meant they have paid thompson and cotric 1 month each of their massive salaries, and thats 1 month less we have to pay on whatever we agree on
