I think Mikaele still has a lot to offer,I’d like to see WT keep him for a couple of more years.

Me too. Don't understand the desire to palm him off. He is young with a heap of room for growth.

Getting a lot of enjoyment out of reading the Eels forum lately. Mostly due to posts like this

So sick of people whigning about our recruitment.

Whilst BA has not won a premiership, the fact is he gets the best out of the players he signs. Hodgson is a good signing and will be a great leader for is. Dont forget smith played into his late 30's....

Also, players tend to decline under pricky. I think hodgson will be a beast for us

Smith didn't have any major injuries, Hodgson has has a bunch.

Speaking of Matterson...if he goes unsigned, do we take him back on a reduced contract? Obviously he probably won't want to come back, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of love for him in the market -> no choice. He did play well as an edge br under Madge for most of his stint with us.
