Oregon was regarded as highly as Stef coming through the grades. in my eyes he'd be a decent buy. interesting that Parra don't want him when Paulo looks certain to head for the exits.

You’re forgetting Luke Brooks.

Brooks is on 900k

His previous contract was circa 550k I think it was upgraded to 650/700k.

He’s been upgraded more than once.
He’s easily on $800- $850k … unfortunately.
Why do you think he wants to stay … and nobody wants him at that price?

Even if he’s 800-850K.. remember he’s part of the “old club” with Nofa, take 100K off..

You only get to take 100k off one long serving player as far as I am aware.
That is off the cap - he still gets the money.

There’s simply not enough talent left on the market most likely it is JTJ unless we either promote one of our lower grade players or another Centre becomes available before next season although I’m not confident of that happening

Problem is though he’s on a massive contract 600K and maybe he gets more each year but Dragons aren’t willing to chip anything in if a club does express interest they’ll let him go but they aren’t helping pay any money so I reckon that’s why no one is expressing interest and while I would take Lomax I don’t see it happening unfortunately although I’d be static if it did

All of the players who swap clubs, none of them are 'available'. We have what 700k to spend,if we waste 100k on a proven failure like Roberts it would be a terrible show of desperation and failure.
He's on a t+t contract. If we have injuries and need him then he can play, but there's absolute no need to waste any time or money on wanted up has beens.
