Some bloke on a wests tigers page on Facebook is claiming Curtis Rona has been seen training with the Tigers n claims he is friends with Curtis' partner and she has advised him Curtis is 100% a done deal at the Tigers just in cooling off period…......Anyone got anything more on this or the bloke speaking swahili?

"Curtis Rona watakuwa katika WestsTigers msimu ujao"

Am i missing something, why would we want Jai Field? Don't we already have enough halves? As for Meaney, don't know him from a bar of soap. Tough gig being stuck behind Ponga, no matter who you are. I guess the Knights willingness to still want to keep him speaks for how talented he must be.

Fullback Field not half Field.

Ahhh. Akmal from Swahili. Well he has more credibility then SG apparently.

Curtis Rona was excellent playing centre in his final year for the dogs before he went to RahRah.
Wallabies have some affiliation with concord don’t they? Wouldn’t be surprised if his hanging around at some stage. Strange it’s us that is most likely destination, back to the dogs could be an option? Penrith are dropping like flys with Edwards ruled out for the season.

Tigers go cold on English recruit

The outstanding form of youngster Esan Marsters has made Wests Tigers pull out of their bid to sign crack English centre Oliver Gildart.

The current Young England Player of the Year, Wigan star Gildart was keen to come to the Tigers next season.

Tigers recruitment manager Dave Warwick even checked out his form on a recent trip to the UK - but the club decided they are better off with Marsters.

Centre was shaping as a real problem for the Tigers this year following the loss of both Moses Suili and Taane Milne.

But Marsters has stepped up to the plate and is playing as well as any centre in the competition.

I don't think we would want Jai Field.

Under sized fullback.

Get one that is more of a sure bet ands has more attributes of a First grade fullback from the get go.

Because we have lots of depth in centers…..this kid is still a decent player and would have been a decent pickup. Who knows what may happen.

Imagine Field getting hit by Sam Burgess. gives me shivers just thinking about it.

Thats a bit of an odd article. Given that there are two centre positions in the team.

I can only assume its because we are close to signing another centre option.
