They have lost Pap and Niukore so I do agree with you that he probably will be signed to play second row if he does go to Parra, but unless they intend on keeping both Lane and Cartwright I think they’ll make at least some offer for Matterson not many clubs will take him

Unless their stance has changed, Parra aren’t even offering Matterson a new contract.

Where did Niukore go, Warriors? For this season do you know? He would've been a great pick up for us, he was solid as a rock last season playing out of position in the centres, he could've filled a big hole for us there. Not sure on his attack as a centre though but was a gun in defence.

I haven’t heard anything official from Parra about Matterson so at this stage he seems to be on the outer, he could be gone after this year but if he is don’t know which club would be willing to take him only club that might come sniffing would be Dolphins given they don’t have many players their yet

The problem with Matterson is two fold. He’s got too many concussion issues, and he’s a proven prima donna. Remember when our club released Corey Thompson? Matterson was long gone by then, yet got on Twitter and took a shot at how bad Thompson was treated. Then just late last year he come and said he has no ill will towards the club. It’s like he was trying to repair his bridges because he knew that he’d be looking for a contract soon.

Signed with the Warriors they lost him first I think then not long after we announced we signed Papali’I

Yeah I do remember that I also remember the interview he did saying that Ivan was sorry he kept him at the Tigers and he just laughed so I highly doubt Tigers would be willing to take him back, and as you said concussions have become a major factor for him not manly teams are gonna be willing to sign a player that keeps getting them maybe he won’t even be in the NRL after this year
