The issue with a cleanout is you must have the players to replace them. Are those players available?

With you on this Paws. Getting rid of them for us doesn't seem to be a problem - replacing them is.The issue with a cleanout is you must have the players to replace them. Are those players available?
too many times we replace good/solid players with has-been-hopeless players (e.g. Momirovski -> J Leilua, Gildart, Roberts; The issue with a cleanout is you must have the players to replace them. Are those players available?
All players did not cost Storm big money when they came across.
Aiken and Tapine in my opinion would strengthen our 2023 team and hoping Aiken can transfer mid season as we need a centre/second rower option better than we currently have.
Wouldn't it be nice to say we're having a clean out. Simple as that. The issue with a cleanout is you must have the players to replace them. Are those players available?
IMO end of the year is the perfect time to swap Brooks for someone good.
He is an ok 6 but I think Brooks speed complements Hastings 7 better
He is a solid centre and at a pinch a fullback if need to be
Is he a 13 potentially in a Cameron Murray and Yeo type role ? except he does not defend well enough
He is a good goal kicker but so is Hastings
I get he is a good captain and voice but he doesn't have a specialist spot in the team that he really owns. He is kind of a jack of all trades
(e.g. Momirovski -> J Leilua, Gildart, Roberts;
Doueihi's injury history is a worry, 2 acl's at 23 and already one of the slowest in the teamI love Doueihi as a player but it's hard to know where to play him. I think he is a better player than Brooks though.
I agree that he is not Inglis, Manu, or Hodges but he was picked by Storm, Panthers (both won championships), and Rorters!Momo is so overrated on here. He is a fringe first grader. He does a lot of things right but he is also a small slow outside back.
Tommy T was wanted by Melbourne....I agree that he is not Inglis, Manu, or Hodges but he was picked by Storm, Panthers (both won championships), and Rorters!
What I am saying is, he is miles better option than our current/past centres. Exhibit 1, none of our recent centres was offered to play for the Storm, Panthers or Rorters😉
Momo is probably a 5/10. Roberts/Talau/Kepaoa are probably 4/10 with the latter 2 having a higher ceiling than Momo.I agree that he is not Inglis, Manu, or Hodges but he was picked by Storm, Panthers (both won championships), and Rorters!

I have a theory that the reason there is a lack of genuine centres is because the good centres either want to play fullback or 5/8Yeh, so many backs want to play half or fullback these days. There was an old back rower at roosters who played every position in the backline except half, Andy Norvel I think? If he were playing today he would surely think about playing 7🤣
He is just not this yearDid I hear that Sims is no longer off to Storm? I'd love him here.
Any update on the meeting yesterday mate?He is just not this year
WHAT, Santa 🎅 isnt real.most believe in Santa Claus
he can get an extended crack at centreThats because he's never given an extended go at one particular position. He is always shuffled for the betterment of the team. He's got the ability to own a position (not fullback), however just like any other player you need to actually play him there for an extended time..
I remember that post actually. It's when you returned after a while off. You seen him training at some oval ay?I did.
When covid first kicked off.
Can confirm he legitimately has stated he loves Madge and would like to play under him.
