Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

last night on fox they said JAYDAN SUA was been chased by the bunnies, he is just what we need in the back row, but for some reason we never seem to get these players, either we dont have the correct people talking to these players, because we do have the funds.

Isaako or Ethan Lowe would be nothing less than fantastic signings (we need a reliable kicker!!) but I doubt those guys will leave their teams.

**Can someone please shed light on the Mbye rumours?** Guy is class. A marquee IMO and he's only getting better. His skill and versatility would be an amazing asset to any team.

Charles Dickens had , as they say, great expectations.

But not really as much as the fiercely loyal Wests Tigers fans who populate this forum, in all matters about recruitment.

Love it!!

Mbye talks are definitely happening but details are varied with now.

Isaako probably won't leave the Broncos because they've got him earmarked for Boyd's fullback position. Lowe on the other hand has been demoted to the bench and is only getting about 40 minutes game time a week under Green - he could probably be persuaded to leave for more game time and more respect.

Souths are big spenders and they are going after him with the funds they had pegged for Crichton. It would cost us a bomb to get him.

DT reported we offered a 3 year deal Moses Mbye and will have to take a pay cut to come over as Dogs won’t pay for him to play at WT.
Dogs have the bye next week so if it’s happening this year it will be next week. Just a hunch.

Mbye should ride this out until the Bulldogs pay the difference between what the Tigers are offering and what he was going to get paid. They're in a mess and obviously need to free up funds hence allowing him to negotiate with other clubs in the first place. Put the pressure back on them…

agreed nelson, but its about time we signed some players at the top of there game rather than players on the way down, we need a elite signing.

Mybe will be offered 3 years by us matching the 2 years he has left at the Dogs. …it will be paid over 3,5 years some out of this years cap to lessen the hit over the 3 years similar to what the rorters did with Maloney a few years ago should the Dogs and Mbye agree...

Wait so Mbye could be a mid year signing as of 3.5 years?

That is only for the 2019 season onwards ….......??

Dogs aren't going to release anyone while they think they are still in the Top 8 race

We can help snuff that stupid idea out of their heads this weekend

Not sure. maybe it just means he will paid over 3.5 years (as we have space now) but is only actual here for 3 years. If so, thats some creative accounting.

It can be done Rorters paid Maloney a year of his contract while he was still playing for the Warriors a big reason the could add SBW and others in their premiership year…
