I would still put my money on Jake Granville for an 80 minute hooker.

Re-signed today

Few rumblings about Peats not happy , doesn't like the fact he has shared the role as hooker

That doesn't surprise me and if hes kept up his form he's probably acting like a complete d*** towards Mitch Rein and letting him know he's the #1 hooker at the club. Zero interest in having him here and he's really not that good.

The way he goes on on Twitter, he seems like a complete d-bag.

Manly CEO Lyall Gorman confirms centre Brian Kelly will be at Manly in 2019
MAY 28, 2018

MANLY CEO Lyall Gorman has confirmed the Sea Eagles will retain centre Brian Kelly despite fears he could be released due to the club’s salary cap drama.

Kelly had received interest from the Wests Tigers and Cowboys, but Gorman said the Lismore-born back is contracted and staying at Brookvale.

“Brian is contracted for next year,” Gorman told The Daily Telegraph about Kelly, who has scored three tries in 12 games this year.

“Absolutely, he will be here next season.”

Kelly’s retainment is a big boost for a Manly side that has been plagued by off-field drama all season.

The Sea Eagles’ cap situation has forced the club to part ways with a number of players, including Fijian flyer Aku Uate.

Fantastic news. The guy is average, no better or worse than our existing depth players.

Very true, I’d rather Fonua or Thompson at centre over Kelly

Id rather Tui or MCK to be honest.

Not seems.

Absolutely is!

Damn. A few on here were certain he was coming over. Plenty of potential and I think would have given us great depth in the centres. I don’t see marsters as a long term centre as I don’t think he has the pace. He was shown up in the bulldogs game. I see the edges is where is his future lies.

Peni Terepo & Moses Pangai or Gideon from the Cows would be good. Don’t want to break the bank next year as you want some coin left over to have a play at Cleary.

Pangai was at the Tigers years ago.
No one rly rated him.

No too any player from the Eels. So who will we look at for centre if we can't get Kelly? Masters can stay there for the time being. But we still need depth.

Our backline next year looks very short in size. We will be killed in the air so mentioning guys like Will Smith doesn’t make sense. A Dugan type player would be nice

I thought size this year would kill us, but touch wood we have handled the ball in air well, except for the odd blemish. I think all teams are now pretty good at getting blockers in place to protect their catchers. Of course some size and speed would be handy

There’s still noise about Woods coming back. Personally I have mixed feelings. I agree with the sentiment he’s burnt a few bridges with his behaviour as captain last year. However with the proposed reduced interchanges he could be useful if the doggies paid a significant amount of his contract.

For a bit of humour check this out from The Kennel. Just beware the language…

It is funny they think the problem is Woods not the fact they don't have any halves even when they have spent plenty of coin there.
