It makes common sense to bring in a new centre before June 30\. We currently skimming the bottom of the barrel for centres and we don't want another ludicrous situation as occured when Lovell was fulfilling the centre role.

Hopefully we can grab a centre before the deadline. I know it says our roster is now complete, I'm assuming we're counting siro in the 30\. Plenty can change in a week. Who knows we might snag Kelly or someone else before June 30.

I find this incredibly difficult to accept. Using Sironen in our squad this season when we're desperate for a centre just doesn't make any sense.

Sign someone from another club. AN experienced star, a young gun. Even promote one of our juniors (not that we have any centers close to FG mind you). First Suli and Milne sacked, then Fonua out injured and we have Naiqama left as our only centre option, who is already highly suspect.

We'd have to rely on MCK or Gamble to fill in for the rest of the season - which would be a huge risk.

Given the situation it just doesn't make sense not to use our final squad position

Perhaps if there is no viable option they will front load contracts (Pascoe has said that previously) which will provide more funds for next year.

We've got 10 days to sign someone, so hopefully we're doing everything we can to get it done.

Who much money do we have left in the kitty

My guess is around 6 to $800000
If so then that puts us in a good position next year to sign a few more quality players coming of contract

We should have 1 spot left. Some are saying we can claim Curtis Sironen is taking that spot but we don’t have to.

Given what was stated on Robbie's press release "Farah's signing along with that of Moses Mbye now fulfils Wests Tigers roster requirements for 2018" it would appear that we have closed up shop but if the Curtis Sironen option is available then this may not be the case.

I thought Farah's signing has no impact on numbers as we are allegedly trading one of MM or Godinet to Souths?

It does state. Fulfills our roster REQUIREMENTS for this year. With Siro partly on the books and the 90 or 95% of total cap value required to be spent I’d say this is option 1, this would mean remainder cap money is front loaded. West tigers have completed their roster for what is required but it still leaves the door open to change if they attract a player to the club by June 30 but the door is closing quickly.
I get the feeling Kevin N will see out the year in the left centre position. Never minded that option anyway.

Yes. Bit why wouldn't they do it at the same time? We are still lacking another strike 2nd rower and a strike centre. Centre first. If Ailoia pulls his finger out id be happy with him.

Poor old Rona must have got on the 620 instead of the 621 which happened to me once. Ended up pantsless out the front of a Greek Restaurant in Haberfield with Mick Neill and Fred Hollows, God only knows how we didn't see that coming, you thought Fred would have but one thing he did say before he kicked off was that the Messiah whom could pass both left and right would return to from whence he left as a pariah. We had souvlaki after I threatened the restaurant with a firearm, I'm pretty sure they were squatters whom had stolen the queen piece off my chessboard.
